Comics and graphic novels, anime, Magic, scifi and fantasy lit (Asimov, Clarke, Dick, Adams, Gaiman, Pratchett, and sooo much more) Firefly and Star Trek (Picard is the ONLY captain!!)...I've been heard singing part of the score from Repo! in the shower...and I couldn't apologize enough to my roommate for that...My favorite tshirt has an illustration of a car crash and a caption: 'ctrl+z' (hilarious!)...I own two lightsabers, use the Vulcan greeting regularly and work the Jedi mind trick into everyday conversation (unsuccessfully - so far), I meet a group of local artists on Tuesdays to draw frames and edit storyboards for our amateur comics...I'm an active member of a fencing club, and I practice my stance (and lunges, parries, ripostes, yada yada) in my backyard while quoting Shakespeare and Monty Python.....Am I a geek yet?

LOVE AND PEACE!! Vash is awesome!
Rurouni Kenshin is one of my faves too, and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles! I can't believe the manga is finished!
Currently am watching Darker than BLACK: Gemini no Ryuusei, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood...erm...think that's most of them....

For the Inuyasha fans, y'all know that the new season is out, dontcha??

Edit: Ahhh, forgot the scifi stuff! Stargate SG-1, Firefly/Serenity, Battlestar Galactica (I am ashamed to say I haven't seen the original though), and Sanctuary (cuz I love Amanda Tapping). And yeah, I have a lightsaber too!

Good for them (and us!); I love Looney Tunes.

And I do love comics, always have, especially the Marvel line, circa the late 1960s through the 80s, and DC, once they began the Vertigo line.

I will NEVER understand the whole anime' thing (sexual or otherwise)....but lemme tell you....the mid 70's Superwoman / Batwoman???????

Holy fucking fuck!

(And "SuperGirl"....oh my motherfucking GAWWWWWWWWD!!!!)

Anime, comics, horror, fantasy, sci fi. And I definitely was heavy into D&D back in the day.

My slave and I are even looking into LARPing. Is that geeky enough for ya? :-)

I've always found LARPing to be a total ruin of a good ol fashion stick fight

I grew up in Baltimore.  There was no such thing as a stick fight, only gunfights.  If you got lucky someone may have only used bats.

There used to be a lot of characters like that in 2000AD: Durham Red was particularly cute, and dressed like a dominatrix...

Woo hoo geekery!! I don't watch a lot of tv, I think I'm missing out on some things...
I've heard Battlestar Galactica is awesome, but has to be watched sequentially. Same with Venture Bros. True?

I did WOW for a while, but even though it means they can afford to update the game daily, the monthly fee seems kinda ridiculous... There's another one called Guild Wars that was alright, but it's been a while. The graphics on my poor old computer are sub-par. And the battery life is down to about 10 mins so I have to keep him plugged in...and he keeps overheating, even though I've replaced the fan twice now...but that's what I get for naming my laptop HAL...
ssssssssssssssssshhhhhh...I think he's plotting against me...

I grew up playing D&D and for several years I owned a Japanesse animation store. I never got into WOW. I enjoy reading old comics. I admit I am a geek.

I love old comics, HUGE crush on the classic '40s style Superman...my deck is outdated but I still play Magic now and then. I got back into it going with my ex to a tournament. I got my ass kicked but the looks when these super-geeks saw - gasp! - a girl walking into the back room of this comic shop of her own free will...priceless.

Fuck, I'm worried bout my geek credentials, never been into D&D, but I've played poker with tarot cards(dunno how thats related), Could never stand MMORPG's, it's like playing Roshambo with some one half way round the world, cept you halta spend hours kicking small animals in the nuts to even get to the level of a 30% chance of crit attack on their family jewels, I read more zapp(me loves Crumb) comics then anything with a "hero"in it(altho I've been known to horde a few mystery men comics,Go flaming carrot go),And I could never stand anime, well some of it I like*cough* Fooly Cooly*cough*, but I could watch shit like this all day...(as a side note, I'm seriously considering getting a tattoo of koko the clown viciously sodomizing betty boop)

Heck, other then old startrek(the ones where scotty used to get drunk) and seaquest back in the day(hey, I was young), I don't even care for any live action scifi or fantasy shows at all...

I don't even have asthma.......

Speaking of Old Sci Fi, and movies, I have a feeling you might like ZARDOZ, look it up(I think it's on youtube still) it's a post 007 movie with sean connery as a mad man hunting barbarian who enters into the world of immortals and brings them a much needed present...death...yeah it's pretty trippy 8D

That's kinda like saying "I've found NFL rules to be a total ruin of a good ol fashion game of catch" lol

Besides, isn't a friendly "hey, lets beat the holy shit out of eachother" moment exactly what this is?
