On another forum that I frequent, there are discussion threads for most on-air TV series that are popular with the membership. As a new member and seeing that there is no such thing here, it seemed like something new and interesting that I could introduce.

If you think that such a thing is a bad idea, please make this feeling known.

The only one I keep up with that's on your list is Son's of Anarchy

I also keep up with:
Leverage
Numb3rs
Brother's and Sisters
Army Wives
There are others I look at now and then

I say keep up with them, but they are just piling up on my DVR...sometimes I get a wild hair and do a marathon...I'm just not one to sit and watch tv, I usually have to be doing something else.  Too A.D.D. I guess...lol

Criminal Minds (which isn't onl your list)
Sons of Anarchy

Dexter, House, Lost, Breaking Bad, all good stuff. I've yet to see Sons of Anarchy, but it sounds like I'd enjoy it.

I watch SoA religiously. I have to admit Gemma is hot. I haven't even heard of most of the shows the OP put in the list but I'm not a big tv watcher.

House and Dexter
...until yesterday when the gawd damn channel turned cable and I'm not interested in buying access....

LaTigresse -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 4:05:25 AM)

None of the listed. I have to say, I haven't even heard of most of them.

I am just not into serial television programmes. Most of what I watch is on channels like, The History Channel, National Geographic, The Travel Channel, TCM, AMC, etc. Around here it's usually educational, movies, or old television programmes that are being re-run, like MASH.

If I have the grands it might be SpongeBob SquarePants.[:D]

Not being too big on regular tv series, I havn't seen many on the list but, I do watch of all things....2 1/2 Men.....great cast, funny as hell!

DesFIP -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 4:13:07 AM)

You don't have an option for those of us without tv. They want $2.50 a foot to run cable to my house, all 1300 feet of it. So to hell with them. Books are better anyway.

purepleasure -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 4:13:07 AM)

none of the shows in the poll.

For me, it's almost all CBS shows. Actually, it's really more like the television is on for background noise.

sirsholly -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 4:48:01 AM)

<---does not watch TV

KMsAngel -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 5:08:00 AM)

<==== also doesn't watch TV

Aylee -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 5:31:17 AM)

House, but I buy it on DVD.  Otherwise we have the toddler channel on or sometime the Food Network.  I also like books.

GreedyTop -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 5:50:29 AM)

I dont have cable anymore, strictly DVD here now.  But when I had cable, I'd load up on the L&O shows, and West Wing when I could get it.  As far as your list, I'd sometimes watch Burn notice.  Saving Grace is another show I like....

sappatoti -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 6:51:27 AM)

Nothing on the OP list. I have been watching and following FlashForward and the reincarnation of V (although I'm rethinking the latter). Other things I watch on a hit or miss basis are the Mythbusters and other shows on the Discovery Channel or History Channel.

I have heard that is where the 55" LCD LED, whatever the hell it is, television is going.......IF someone ever gets the walls finished.

My bathroom has to get done first.....that's the deal.

Lessee if we get any more answers in the afternoon hours. *one and only bump*

I started putting SpongeBob on while getting ready for work in the morning about a month ago, after days of Jon + Kate and balloon boy on the 'news'. Love starting the day with a giggle.

OP: none of the shows listed. Grey's if I remember it's on, The Amazing Race for a few minutes now and then to see the cities they are in. Other than that, sports or the news.

DemonKia -> RE: What shows do you watch? (11/16/2009 11:21:45 AM)

FR, after read thru

None of the listed ones. Don't pay for cable. Don't watch regular broadcast teevee; the teevee in the house is old & doesn't even have one of those digital converter box -- it's for the DVD player.

I am a teevee junkee, but . .. . . We had no teevee in the house for much of the offsprings' childhoods as I wanted them to be readers -- & yes, successful!

Anyways, the first-run stuff I watch online anymore, & that's mostly cartoon sitcoms: 'South Park' & 'American Dad' . . .. . & when I'm in the mood I catch up on 'The Daily Show' & 'The Colbert Report' . . . . . . . I was watching 'Lie To Me' quite passionately, but then I realized I just want it on DVD . . . . . On DVD I have (& watch frequently) 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' & 'Absolutely Fabulous' . . .. .

& I have a list of desired-DVDs (movies & teevee series') that is very very very long . . . . . Tho' mostly I buy these things used at the vid-rental outlets . .. . . & I have shelves full of movies, I'm something of a film buff . .. . .
