I am looking for stores in Chicago that carry gags, restraints, etc. Unfortunately I cannot do mail order......besides I like to browse before I buy. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I havent been there for a few years but you could try:

They have more locations also.

There is a place on Lake Street in Addison called Studio 21 that has some nice stuff.

Isn there a place in the Halstead area called Leather Sport that has some bdsm items?

There are half a million toy stores on Halsted, many of them carry BDSM type stuff in addition to "normal" sex toys. Go down there some time and plan to spend a few hours walking from store to store. There's a Tulip on Halsted (VadFarkas mentioned the one on Berwyn), as well. I've been to both fairly recently, and I don't think they had much in the way of restraints, but it's worth a stop anyway!

I went to leather sport a little while ago, lots of stuff. I wasn't impressed by the guy beind the counter. I asked a few questions and got one word answers....maybe I caught them on a off day.
I went to TabuTabu (sp?) on Belmont, much better customer service, you really got to watch the prices and shop all those places, I found a wide range of prices for the same things
