What does being a submissive mean to you? It means that I have a submissive personality and prefer that my Owner have the majority of the power within our relationship.

What qualities does a good submissive have? They have whatever qualities their Owner deems good.  What is great and wonderful for one person may be different for another.

Why should you be picked as a submissive?  I already have been, so no need to answer the question...but if I were to tell my Owner anything(and I wouldn't).  You should pick me because you love me and I love you, silly.

Being submissive to me is being yielding....

Being a good "s" type to me, is the same as being a good me.... i do my best to be honest, and kind.

i have zero answer for why i should be picked.

"What does being a submissive mean to you?"

To me - I'm not going to define it for others - it means a certain mindset and way of relating where I follow another's lead, direction, command, guidance, etc. And actively seek it as a part of my life.

"What qualities does a good submissive have?"

The qualities a compatible dominant seeks. "Good" is very subjective, I've found. One person's "perfect submissive" is another's "doormat" or "brat". It all depends on how well their respective dominant and submissive natures' mesh.

"Why should you be picked as a submissive?"

Because I meet the needs of the dominant, and we make a good match as people.

It means I yield to his dominant nature. It means I surrender to his power.

I wasn't "picked". I chose because I was attracted to him the moment I saw him and knew he was the man I wanted to submit to.

It really wasn't anything more difficult than that really.

Why should you be picked as a submissive? (Answer as if you were presenting yourself to a Master who has you under consideration) If the qualities I posses are compatible with the qualities a potential Master seeks then that is reason enough.

Dreamerdreaming and Llyren, I don't think she wants us to write her paper for her . . . here's my theory. Her profile announces that she is under consideration by a Dom. Thus, I think she wants us to ghost write her emails to whoever is considering her.

Given the stakes, I think $125-150 is damn cheap.

Heck, we can do that.  We can even give her a variety of literary 'voices'.  Hmm...  Forget trying to find a job, I could just ghostwrite posts here on CM for a reasonable fee.  Sliding scale, of course.

And I'd make a mint just coming up with good opening cmails for CHDWBs and HNGs to send to unsuspecting women.

(CHDWB = Clueless Het-Dom WannaBe, and HNG = Horny Net Guy.  It was originally Horny Net Geek, but that was 15 years ago when only geeks were online.)

Hi Cherry,
to me, been submissive mean a power to yield to a specific  Man , the power to stand ,soul naked before that Man
And about the submissive qualities , i would say her total acceptance of who she is
I am in a relation to a Dominant Man, if i was alone , i think i would lower my defences more easily to certains chosen Men so they would see me more easily, the rest would belong to them .

I'm not entirely sure as I'm not.

They seem to have the qualities that the bloke they're with thinks are *good*. I would imagine that actually being able to submit would be a helpful one.

I did ask someone......The only thing I was *presenting* was the person he knew.  I assumed that if he wanted to own me then he'd accept the job. I didn't give a single moment's thought as to WHY he *should* take the job on......so I can't really answer that beyond * If you want to and you can*.

I wouldn't want to be "picked" by someone that would put me "under consideration". Personally, I believe in getting to know each other and seeing if it works. As in it goes both ways. It's not a decision made by one person.

First off all, it's a relationship, you don't present yourself blindly to someone who will consider you. You learn about each other and see if there's enough liking, loving, compatibility and commonalities to fit each other. And if there's sufficient chemistry also.

Beyond that, do you feel submissive to him? Do you feel a sense of power in him that you intrinsically respond to? In order to give him control over my life, I needed to know that he knew what he was doing. So I asked a lot of questions which he answered fully because he understood that if he didn't know what he was doing I could wind up maimed or dead. A man you don't know who demands blind trust without having earned it doesn't deserve my submission and won't ever get my trust.

Does he have a good track record? Does he treat waitresses kindly or does he demean people with less power than him? Does he have fits of anger and blow up at his boss and quit jobs or get fired frequently. Being promoted or sought after by headhunters for higher positions is a different story.

Submission is not a one size fits all. Are you a people pleaser? Do you get fulfillment doing things for others without any external rewards? Do you volunteer? Do you prefer to have people tell you what to do when they want it done or do you operate better with more autonomy? Do you seek to be emotionally vulnerable to someone and have them fully open to you in return?

For me it's two things. First is that need to serve someone else, to make something easier for them, to empower them, however generally it's basically giving someone else what they need, want and desire without setting any conditions or wanting anything in return.

Humanity.

I disregarded the bit in the brackets because I'm not 'just' a submissive, but a complete whole person. Looking at someone as a dominant or submissive to me seems about as rational as looking at a loaf of bread as just flour.

it depends on who and what they are submitting to.

this slave wouldn't tell a Master she was presenting herself to what He should do...she is either pleasing and useful to Him, or she isn't...what He "should" do, with that knowledge, is up to Him.

Well, I'm in trouble.  I have an awful gag reflex.  I tried warning them before the endoscopy that I did, but they refused to listen.  Even under anesthesia, I fought them so hard they couldn't get the tube down my throat.

Putting someone else's desires before my own and getting aroused sexually by that fact.

Mental and emotional flexibility are good places to start. Better than average intelligence doesn't hurt, but is not required in most situations. I think a really good submissive pays very close attention to her dominant and grows to know him or her better than she knows herself.

quote:

Because I don't mind the feel of a collar around my neck? :p
(That wasn't serious, btw, although for some dominants it might be important!)

I think two attracting qualities might be because I learn from my experiences and because I can be extremely entertaining. I also have a high tolerance for, well, pretty much anything the right person chooses to do.
