It was brought to my attention that a part of my old profile could be taken in a way that I seriously did not intend. So, I went back, edited it and pretty much fleshed it out some more.

I'd be interested in finding out if it's up to snuff and comes across well.

Looks like a good profile to me. And you have warm eyes. That should help.

Edited to add:  i prefer the 2nd pic as your main pic.  Looks a bit more thoughtful.  But that's just me.  [:)]

All kidding aside, though, I'm glad it's gone over well. I take criticism to heart and seek to improve things wherever I can.

Its good. You sound reasonably intelligent and sensible in a good way and your a good looking guy ..... I think you have got it just about right.

i have heard it said, while its good to vent about the stupidity on the internet, too much of that in your journal may turn some off. Of course you can't please everyone at the same time!

It no longer says you want play only and equal power but it doesn't specifically state you are looking for any control out of the bedroom. Or conversely that you would like the relationship to grow organically and not fit a pre-existing mold. Just a little unclear.

I'm torn between the two photos. Because tuxedos are, well, hot. But the hair's neater in the other one and the eyes are more of a focal point. However when I first saw your hand position I looked twice to make sure you weren't holding a cigarette. However if the hair is now longer, leave that as the photo. If that's an older pic, switch them around is my best recommendation.

I forgot to look at the pics.  I actually do like the second more than the first.  The tux is nice and all, but the other is a clearer shot of your face.

I suppose that bit is a bit unclear because, like I said, I'm versatile I can be as controlling out of the bedroom as my partner would like me to be.

And, yeah, I'm torn on my photos, too. The shorter hair is actually more recent. I should probably switch them!

Can you really? Because most dominants seem to feel a need to take charge without thinking about it. If so, then having to remember to ask where she wants to go to dinner instead of saying, "don't cook, I feel like lasagna at that place around the corner tonight" will be a real drag.

Obviously you aren't expecting her to sign over her coop to you on the first date. But if you feel that drive to make decisions, even if the decision is to have her pick the place, then it's going to be difficult to be thinking all the time about not throwing around casual orders.

Very nice. You strike a good balance of coming across as smart, sexy, and caring.

Two suggestions: lose the very first sentence ("what to say . . ."), since it doesn't actually add any meaning; and fix the typo in the second-to-last paragraph ("Imight").

I like your profile a lot.  I like the direct style

The only suggestions I have:

1. When you say you found exactly what you were looking for when you found this site, that could be interpreted to say that you found a sub and you're not looking.
2. You don't specify what you want in a woman. Age range, open to all races, experienced or new, etc.
3. You say you're open to relocation. For God's sake, man, specify that you won;t come to Colorado!  It's tough enough finding sub women here as is!

I am not a sub-woman - but it looks like a really great profile. Well done. You might get grammar freaks worry about two sentences ending with prepositions ("looking for" and "grateful to") - since this is something that many women, up with which, will not put! But on the other hand it is precisely that kind of pedant you would probably wish to avoid. Anyway, reads very well - Steve

Hey Steve, I resemble that remark!

But actually, if you aren't great in grammar and do have a lot of important letters to write, you might prefer a grammar freak who will happily spend her time editing your work.

Because if neither of you can spell or write well, either you're in trouble with resumes, cover letters, letters to lawyers, clients etc or you have to pay someone to do so properly.

Yes it is a well written profile IMHO. Though the main thing is are you happy with it and believe it describes you most accurately? If so then it will be up to snuff by your own standards!
