Did y'all know leaves do not just "fall" off a tree? Its true, a tree actually discards its leaves when its done with them. When the tree has taken all the nourishment from the leaf it can, it "lets go" of the leaf. Just some autumn trivia for ya![;)]

I shot a tree numerous times this morning, while zeroing in a new front sight for my AR-15. I don't feel quite so badly about it now.

It is obvious to me, and to the rest of you no doubt, that the tree was a wee bit confused, thought i was a leaf, and tossed me on my ass. i feel so vindicated wipes away tears

I am SOOOOOOOO glad I live on a hill because the trees in my yard have been discarding like crazy. Living on a hill in the country means they all blow away. No raking.
