It's early so I gotta do this this way ::smiles::
1. It means that his needs come first. My heart loves and needs him so anything I can do to serve him and make my heart happy is what I will do. I can never turn off my feelings for him, that makes me his slave.
2. I made the commitment that I am basically on call for him 24/7. Anything he needs I can do or will try to do. I have 3 ranks in my little world of me-acquaintances (lower rung), friends (i am here for you but reserve the right to say no to you if you ask me for anything), and my immediate family (I will walk thru fire for you, I will die for you). He fits in the family rung. He's part of my breathing world.
3. That he will be there for me if I need him. He will advise me on life matters, protect my safety and sanity. That he holds me in his heart and will have certain feelings for me that he has for no one else (trying not to say the "L" word here, he says he feels it, just cannot say it since his divorce years ago.)
4. I respect his privacy and his inability to say the "L" word. At first I had limits but after a year, gave them all up. Now his limits are mine. I just honor it by understanding that we have something on a much deeper level than the rest of the world acknowledges and since that is so rare, never question or undercut it.
