No I didn't know it was coming but it was a good reply. This is the question, So is Rush Limbaugh an alien or is he an example of evolution?

It isnt a worm. Just a legless amphibian that lives in the tropics. (worms dont have backbones, this animal is a vertebrate.) It is lungless because there is enough moisture where it lives so that it can absorb Oxygen thru its skin and the lining of its mouth. The amount of Oxygen absorbed this way is low but the animal is small and has a slow metabolism so O2 utilization is very low.

Thank you for clarifying the matter and I would like to add, in my opinion, it is a great example of evolution based on this creature living in a moist environment. It is an excellent example of what can happen over the course of time or billions of years of evolution. This is really interesting too, at least to me anyway: I think the universe expands for 30 billion or 50 billion years or maybe even 100 billion years. And then it contracts until it is infinitesimally small as described in this video. And then I think it hibernates/sleeps like a polar bear or squirrel in the "winter". That's my theory anyway, if anybody can pass this thought on to Stephen Hawking or some other physics professor, please do so if you think they might be interested. The terrible thing is that such extreme examples have to be resorted to as demonstrations of evolution in action. You'd think that there's a lot more examples a lot closer to home that could be cited. You know, the appendix, wisdom teeth, New York TB, the fact that you need a new flu jab every year, like that. (Nice pictures, though.)

They have identified its function in storing bacteria should it be needed in the intestinal tract, and has evolved in other animals as well.

The appendix is a very good example of evolution. It is apparently the greatly reduced vestige of the cecum which our herbivorous ancestors would have needed as seen in the other great apes. With our more omnivorous diet and the loss of the need to digest high cellulose items like leaves we evolved the much smaller appendix.
