But since this question was addressed to Ladies (I might have written Dommes) about qualities in a boy, I'm curious to know if you were saying these were good qualities for a boy, or just any man? I think they would apply to all men. I'm just curious about your mind set in answering.

*grasps at random straws* Yea, I'm not coming up with anything. Random input from people who aren't even looking for what the subject is about just kind of confuzzels me.

I'm also curious how the list could be insulting, unless you don't match anything on there and got insulted? Again, I'm grasping at straws.

They are attractive qualities. Attractive in a man on all fours. Attractive in a man standing over me. Just attractive all around. I don't have much faith in the ability of proper and complimentary sexual attitudes overcoming a lack of base physical attraction.

You know, not everyone who likes "boys" is interested in the full range of Mistress expression. I answered the question in terms of what attracts me to dominate a man. I can see how my response might come across as shallow, but it's not random.

I don't think the collarme forums have every stopped a submissive from answering a question addressed to Dominants. As I said, I appreciated her input. And I would add that I didn't put juicy ass up there on my list, but come to think of it, gosh yes! a juicy ass is mighty attractive ;-)

I don't think the list I wrote would be insulting to anyone. I think that there might be a difference of opinion, or someone might think I am unrealistic in my expectations - make no mistake, I don't settle for anything less than a man who checks off every single quality on that list. But my mother taught me to never settle ;-)

Oh, and FYI, you might find this humourous, but over 4 years ago, I had a nasty multipage debate with a sissy over a thread I started about my masculinity fetish ;-)

I changed my profile orientation on the other side from switch to submissive to spare all the dainty boys in lady's underwear from wasting their time contacting me. But I didn't change my profile text or journals, which I think present an unmistakably switch mindset. And I answered your question with all sincerity. Many traits on the list could apply to both sexes, however from previous threads on this topic, it amazes me how many guys just dont understand the basics of dating. I still think there would be few Dominas willing to accept anyone without most of the basic qualities listed. I will try and think of a more specific list when I have more time.

Here are a few thoughts on traits that would be good for a submissive to have. This doesnt preclude the previous list.

Punctuality.....Timekeeping, or more correctly, not keeping her waiting.

Trust...It must be easier for a Domina to be with a submissive who trusts her when playing. If you have trust then it should be easier to surrender to ones fears.

A sense of adventure......For the reasons stated before.

Ability to follow orders and learn quickly.......The quicker you learn the quicker she doesnt have to double check what you do.

Attention to detail....Its no good offering to clean if you dont do it properly.

Loyalty.......No one wants a partner who is messaging others and looking for extra play dates, unless agreed.

Devotion......It goes without saying.

Knowing when to hush and when to speak up.........haha my downfall.

A good sense of humour.......For times when its needed.

Not being pushy or selfish.......Its not all about her but its not all about me either.

Being able to communicate.......Vital at the best of times. Being able to explain just why you will do X but cant do Y is a plus.

Non argumentative......Too much like hard work to deal with.
