Some may say ‘yes’ and mean it ... because that makes and shows Me to be very human and ‘real’. But, I am smart enough to know that almost without having to think about it too hard, there will be a bigger group out there that will look for any other set to ogle and fawn over, rather than My aging breats. I am as human as the next person, if it turns Me off, how can I look anyone else in the eye and take to heart that they find Me as appealing now, as they once did, if I can’t believe it Myself?

Oh hell! Now I am going to have to go to therapy to work on an acceptable ‘self-body image’… CRAP!

Interesting post.

I think as long as a person is just getting a little boost from modern medicine/science, that's fine, but it's sad when someone is trying to rely on that to create a sense of self-value (not what you're doing, by the way). I'd have my nose worked on in a second, if I had the money to do so, for instance, but that does not make me who I am, it does not give me value.

We should be glad that there is a possibilty for "fake".
I think most people prefer "real", but soemtimes afther ilness/desease...we can't choose.

I will NOT go through every post and nit pick everyones typos I will only say this Gonzo....you better spell check every thing you type then make sure you have someone proof read it as you are getting old fast....all you have done is shine a spotlight upon your typoneese and I will be here just for you to help you see the errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrors of your ways. OK, blacklion, i will respond to your post this one time...

Last Wednesday i had bi-lateral, modified, radical mastectomy - the doctors removed my "real" breasts. Then a reconstruction surgeon placed implants under my chest muscles. The reason was that my "real" breasts had BREAST CANCER.

As much as i liked the "real" ones - they had become a threat to my LIFE!
