It would be nice if Collarme set up an optional certification section in a profile where someone could submit proof of identification along with a photograph. Of course the information such as passport or drivers license would be confidential and only “certified” would be displayed in the profile along with one certified photo displayed at the option of the profile owner. Myself I see no reason for any proof…after all this is just fun and you can only fool someone for a short time. But if someone wanted to go to the extreme there would be an option. Butch

Butch Well unless CM sets up certification centers to check the documents for authenticy in each and every state and country you would have to trust that the scanned documents was genuine. Although OPs idea is foolish, the sheer number of fakes on this site is astounding...and the most common response for moaning about it in any form appears to be ridicule...when I put a search in the other side, ~50% of the profiles shown will be obvious fakes....wish the mods would just give me a delete profile button. Even if not me, it seems fairly obvious that the answer to this problem is to give more people the power to kick the fakes....yet it's been years, and nothing.

I'm saying only having half a chance of someone actually existing before you even start sorting out whether there's any chance of a match is not 'good odds'.
