Termyn8or -> RE: Chastity & Corsets (3/13/2006 6:55:27 PM)

There has been some discussion of this on LMU. From what I've gleaned it seems more desirable to wear the corset under the CB. That means the CB might need to be adjustable. As a Man, you don't have the big hips (most likely) so some of this might not apply, but I have been studying quite a bit so I got my two cents. It is impractical to think you will wear a corset that does not overlap the waistband of the CB. What I've read is mostly from Women, but, the consensus is to wear the CB on the outside. At first thought it seems that you would need a bigger CB to accomodate the waistband. Upon further thought a Woman might tend to wear the waistband higher for comfort. If your CB waistband is on the hipbones this is a big problem, if it is up above the bones it presents a different set of circumstances. First of all, the waistabnd will not be compressable under the corset, probably limiting how tight you can lace it (or chain it or whatever). Wearing the corset underneath would seem to indicate a bigger CB, but the idea of a corset is to compress you, so you might have to play around a bit for it to fit. There are many options, for one, if it turns out you need to remove the CB to shower, depending on the materials used you might be able to stay locked for like 48 hours. You could take what's called a whore bath once. Then you're out the next day. It is better to stay cleaner though, I would say. I would try it both ways. I would think the corset under would be more comfortable in most cases. Most of the Men I see in full florentine belts seem to wear the waistband a bit lower, and I can see why. Bending over in public. For example when you catch a glimpse of a plumber's butt crack. Women have many more clothing options. So I guess all this boils down to the fact that I don't have the answer, but hopefully this will help you find your own answer. On a side note I would like to ask you a few things, but I will tell you "where I'm coming from" first. I have a florentine CB which I am refitting to me. I like the idea of a corset, but not for long term. I have physical problems that while not severe, would make long term tightlacing unduly uncomfortable for me. I mean pain. I am a Man, I talk in a strong voice and I generally don't take shit. I do take criticism if someone gives it right, in that case I welcome it. I don't give wimpy apologies either, when I say I am sorry I use a very strong tone and I don't lower my eyes, but this is on those occasions when I am wrong, so I don't have alot of practice (I am joking about the last part). I have absolutely no gay tendencies, nor would I ever want to emulate a Woman in appearance. However. Certain Womens garments, mainly undergarments do intrigue me. This may seem like an oxymoron, but it isn't. It is the restriction imposed by the garment which appeals to me. I am not into frilly things. Now I am a bit tubby, but not obese. (5'11" about 210 lbs.) If I get a tight longline bra or something I can pull some of "me" up and fill maybe a C cup, more surely a B. Now get this, having the breast protrusions like that is something I consider undesirable, but that is precisely what makes it desirable. First of all it is obvious, I don't want to be seen this way. That means I might as well be in a cage (my own house). Perhaps some degree of this is actually empathy for Women. Of course when they wear this stuff they got the problem of all kinda shit to go through just to take a piss ! The "breasts" I wind up with wearing something like that feels very unnatural to me. That is a big part of it's allure for me. It's hard to explain how to do this, I only have so much flab to go around. Take and start putting the garment on, and when almost all on, slightly loose, take and pull up bringing more of your abdomenal flesh up. When you install the cups/straps, shove it in from the front of the shoulders too, and anything sitcking out. Do raise your arms outward so it pulls out to where it needs to be, and if you no longer fill the cups pull more up. I wouldn't mind wearing a corset, but I would like some special attachments. A corset with a bra top and crotchstraps would be nice, very nice indeed. Anyway, the question : In your particular fetish picture, how big of a component is bondage, and related restriction of the body versus feminisation/effeminisation ? If others would care to answer that I would be interested as well. Also in Re: your question; it might help to know what kind of CB, is it a hip (ergo) or waist belt ? One more thing to consider, the reason I don't rush out and buy a corset. Long term wear can hurt you, your back, if any of your organs are inflammed they will act up. I would like an even more restrictive garment than a corset, like an "extended" corset. Perhaps with an integral CB. If you've seen it, on Neosteel's site is a prototype of something like that. Highly polished metal lattice, decorative but beefy enough to be strong, lined in red. Perhaps a corset with something to attach it to the CB ? Hmmm. L8R T
