lol. I lived in Quebec for 13 years and had the time of my life. I was there during the last major referendum that narrowly passed. I was getting ready for the rest of Canada to do a comb-over of Quebec. lol. I had a difficult time crossing into Canada once in a while, but was never denied. I think it was because I had long hair and smoked pot...(incidently, some of the best pot in the world comes from Quebec.)

Very few spoke English there, so it wasn't an issue. I also loved the local beers.

Okay now leaving Mt Laurier I don't understand, it's beautiful there. I much prefer the beers from our microbreweries to those of the big guys. They are vastly superior beers, Maudite comes to mind.
