I was on here a while ago during a time when I had a g/f who was also my sub. We had been together about two years and we joined this site together as a way of meeting other Dom/sub couples. At the time we joined, we were physically apart because she was in school in another state but planning to transfer back here so we could be closer again.
Last December, we were making plans to spend the holiday together for about a week. The day before we were supposed to make the trip, she disappeared, literally dropped off the planet. We were in separate at the time cities and were planning to meet and travel together, nothing unusual at all, we'd done it often before, But she just didn't show and I never heard from her ever again. Never answered my calls, never came online, and when I went to see her, she was never there.
Needless to say, I was at a loss. We had not had any sort of argument. She was excited about our trip because we hadn't seen each other in a while. Also her Christmas gift was to be a new, more permanent, silver collar, something she had wanted for a while. (I actually ended up sending it back). I talked to some people I knew on here about it, and the general consensus was a combination of her age and just not really being ready. I'll never know.
So after that happened, I took some time to myself. I didn't want to jump into another relationship just after that ended.
I've actually been looking again for a while now but just now decided to come back on CollarMe and remake my profile and give it a try as a place to meet people but for finding another potential sub and also just to make friends in the lifestyle.
I'm 29 a Dom male who has had multiple (mostly positive!) Dom/sub relationships all my adult life. Definitely not new, but I don't tout myself as an "expert" in anything except me and my own preferences.
Hope to talk to you guys more.
