One would think that Man not being the culprit Global Warming would be a good thing and that releasing the trillions of dollars being used to blame Mankind and stoping Global Climate Change and using it instead to adapt to the new climates and better the condition of all humans would be celebrated?

Would not outing AGW as a myth make you happy?

Imagine all the money used to stop AGW now being used to help the poor, changing the economy of Third World Nations and being used to better educate our children!

Of course it wouldnt make them happy. AGW isn't about "saving the planet", its about control and money.

As a follow up to my comments on Lady Ellen's thread:

Why certainly it would be wonderful if AGW was disproven! If all this fuss over the global envirnoment were a silly myth!

It would be wonderful if the reports of the Pacific salmon decliines were an illusion;
If the fisheries off Newfoundland still teemed with fish;
If the deforestation in Brazil was a myth;
If the beaches in Southern California didn't have to be closed when it rains, due to raw sewage washing ashore, laden with trash and turds;
If the 100 million barrels of petroleum that are burned each day had absolutely no effect on the air we breathe;
If drinking water aquifers were not showing traces of pharmecuticals and toxic chemicals;
If topsoil were not growing thinner, and risking crop failures;
If the nation's timber forests were not being ravaged by bark beetles;
If the skies over China were not being fouled with soot from coal;
If the deserts of the world were shrinking, not growing;
If the network of islands and deltas that formed a barrier between New Orleans and the yearly hurricanes had not disappeared;
If the Sacramento river delta still ran free and held saltwater intrusion away from the farmland of the San Joaquin Valley;

Seriously people. What the fuck are you trying to say?
You want to somehow prove that there is no reason to be concerned about what we do to the environment?

At the risk of sounding horribly cynical, why on Earth would any of the money be spent on any of that? They were never big priorities before the global warming conspiracy got going, were they?
