White House Party Crashers/How did THAT happen?

Status: offline 		There is a couple that was able to "crash" President Obama's White House state dinner for the
Indian Prime Minister.
The couple "Michaele and Tareq Salahi" pulled up to the White House in a limo, and were able to
get inside, even though they were not on the guest list.
 
In this day and age, especially after 9/11 I was really shocked, that they could get in and shake hands at a White House party, and NOT be on the guest list!

They even managed to shake hands and take pictures with President Obama.

No they were dressed to go in and party, and shake hands with the President of the United States.
Problem is, they were not invited!

There is some evidence these people had connections to the Indian Embassy; but at the very least, they are professional party-crashers, managing to get into a lot of different parties to meet celebs.

I am sure there is more to the story. Stay tuned.

There is NO doubt, they are professional party-crashers.

That still does not excuse how they were able to crash a White House party, and get past the secret service.
I live in the metro area, and I have seen the blockades around the White House at times.

There is no excuse for these people being able to get in and get that close to the President of the United States.
Let's see they have no invitation and they are not on the guest list, let's let them in, anyway!

We do have all this increased security after 9/11 right?
I think this makes the secret service look like laughing stocks.

According to the evening news on my local CBS affiliate, they drove up  to the first checkpoint, and the guard couldn't find them on the guest list. But instead of telling them to get lost, he apparently waved them through to the second checkpoint, figuring that there must be some sort of mistake and the guards at the second checkpoint would figure it out. And apparently those guards assumed that if they'd been waved through the first checkpoint, they must be alright.

Incredible. Can you imagine the outrage and the righteous indignation if the American President were visiting India and this happened? A couple of clowns walked in off the street, helped themselves to some champagne, and threw their arms around Obama's shoulder?

She is one of the DC wives... no joke.

Someone's head will roll. I dont think its anything more than two attractive people who looked like they belonged, and some guys attention wavered. I dont see the couple as a security risk. The guards who allowed them in are the bigger risk.

I don't care if they want to be the Queen of England, or rulers of the free world, they
should NOT have been able to get into that White House party.
