The type of photo is very important to me, more so than whether or not they have one.

I do not want to see a photo of someone's naked crotch, no matter how lovely it may be. I would not be interested in someone that puts a photo of multiple people on their profile. If the back ground is a disaster, I notice. I also notice if I have seen the same photo in other locals or on multiple profiles. I also place important on whether or not they have multiple photos.

It is but you can't please everyone with any one picture. Your best bet is to consider how you want to be seen and put up a picture that reflect that. Then those who are drawn to that will be pleased.

How your photo looks online is almost as important as how you present yourself for the first time in real life. If you look bored or dirty (in a non-fun way) in a photograph, or if the photo is of bad quality; that shows you have little interest in yourself or how others percieve you, and that is decidedly unattractive.

In my profile, I'm very specific about what I'm looking for in a Domme. Some percieve that as being to agressive, but most find it attractive because it makes it easier to find a good match. I also include a few small, safe details about myself because it gives someone trying to contact me a starting point for conversation besides 'How are you?'.

Good luck!

Yes, a proper photo is vital. The person's expression shows a lot about their intelligence, kindness, and general attitude. Look through various profiles---do you feel motivated to talk to he grim, frowning folks?

I just checked out your profile and I think you're off to a good start. Your picture is clear and you look very domestic, which is what you seem to want in a relationship. You may want to get another one, though, that shows your full body in relation to a door or bed or some such piece of furniature to make it easier to judge height.

You also may want to work on your grammar in your description. Bad grammar is a staple of online relationships, and makes you sound less intelligent than you actually are. That is going to attract people who only want to cyber and not the real time relationship you actually seek.

Hope this helps,
sfortzando

I take bad pictures anyhow, so the main reason I use them at all is so people can see who they're talking with. Hey, at our age, we don't have the Barbie/Ken thing goin on anyhow..lol.

Welcome to the funny farm walkonme. *cheers*

I'm fascinated by the clarity and warmth of your photo. What type of lights were in that room?

Most of the frauds only have one. If the writing is suspect and they only have one photo, I ignore them. I prefer to see several, obviously taken at different times and locations.

If I was going to guess, it might be in a bathroom with the above mirror/vanity lights.

I've had 1 pic for like ages n sometimes none! depending on da mood and way too detailed to no profiles..
gee me ish fake

Some people hate cameras, I for one hate cameras so 99% of the pics of me are taken when I'm drunk or acting like a jerk.

I am trying to think how to explain. You, I know from here, there is a history that gives me a strong sense of who you are. I don't care whether you even have a photo, though I know that you do.

I was writing from a perspective of receiving an email from someone I have zero clue about. We've all seen the profiles, hot chick, one photo, very little written OR, what is written is vague and could appeal  to a variety of potentials, sending an equally vague email that is probably a form letter.

Or, a profile that is similar, but usually more personal in their email, looking for "what would you do to me?" type information. One photo of hot chick, or the occasional 2-4 but all taken at the same time and location apparently. It just screams male looser looking for wanker material.

I get a lot of emails from both types. Usually they are deleted without an answer but on the rare occasion I give them a chance to prove themselves, they've always tanked.

Does that explain my reasoning a bit better?

hmm yepyep I must admit I've never thought about it that way though. If a person has 1 picture or 20 picture..if you want to put an effort into being a fake you can just find a blog site and take pictures from there that could be taken from all around the world.. but I do understand where you're coming from!

Only the bathroom lights. They are very warm, and I just got lucky with that snapshot. It's one of my favorites!

Hey now! No one says you have to look like Brad Pitt, but your pic is clear and you look put together in it. This says a LOT.
