In general I am attracted to nubile youngsters. However, Infrequently I do find an older woman attractive - usually if nubile.

It does happen that girls 30 years younger are interested in me. However, I never dare to speak to them, so they escape my clutches. The one time I did express an interest in an uninterested girl she told me I was too old. And of course I have and am obsessed by the herpes virus, which is a BIG barrier to any relationship.

Having a latex allergy i can understand this completely. And since lambskin sheaths only protect against pregnancy, my Dr. has told me it is a waste of time and money to use these (have had a hysterectomy). So any time i start a new relationship it HAS to be with a clean bill of health, on both sides. Luckily, i don't foresee this problem arising for a long time, if ever, well maybe again. Who knows?

The obsession, not the virus is the biggest barrier.

Age does not matter to me. It's more about how the person presents His/Her self

You are quite right in that. My being obsessed with the virus is even a bigger barrier than my great fear of contaminating someone else with this horrible, mutilating and lethal virus.

This is a question asked on another site and it got me wondering.

Who are Y/you generally more physically attracted to...
________________________________________________

Immediate physical attraction based entirely upon looks and NOTHING else....same as many........mid twenties and attractive.

But that is simply the first physical "oh she's hot..." shallow thought process. Usually to be followed by "what a shame..." when they open their mouths.

Intellect, sense of humour, maturity, comfortable in their own skin, not obsessed with much of anything, laid back, positive, fun, open minded, open to growth............these are far more important.

true, but also there needs to be a physical attraction as well. you may find the person of your dreams, but if you are not physically attracted to that person, or vice-versa, it doesn't mean squat other than you found a wonderful friend. in the grand scheme of things, there HAS to be physical attraction as well for a romance to work.

Indeed. There is a nubile girl my age, who does have characteristics that I appreciate. On the other hand she unfortunately can be quite sharp, often rattles confusedly and vague, and has a truly ugly face - not a face to kiss. She has invited me for a Christmas day...

My point is this. Some of the most beautiful people in the world become quite ugly once they open their mouths and reveal their brains or lack thereof. Some of the least commercially attractive people become sexy as hell once their intelligence, personality and wit is revealed.

I have met people internationally famous for their physical appearance that were some of the least appealing people I know. I once was involved with a person that was photogenically, downright ugly, but had a certain aura that made him sexy as hell.

This is true as well. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. i was just wondering with this poll if there is an age group, compared to your own, that you tend to gravitate more.

Older definitely. I love a man with an essence of life experience, some battle scars, someone that is an intellectual equal ( at least ) and physically speaking I find that powerful older sexy father figure type with a sadistic streak very very much an aphrodisiac. He is 16 years older than me and it's perfect. Of course, road trips listening to his music is a minor downside.

I've been attracted to people 20ish years older than I, and 27 years younger.

Did you know that without using protection you have a 8% chance of infecting someone in a years time? Think about that. 8% WITHOUT protection. Female to male is 3%. You have a higher chance of infecting someone with the flu and they can die from that.

Im sorry. It is not mutilating and lethal. To me that is insulting to people who have grave illnesses. My mother had Bulbar A.L.S. She would have jumped for joy to trade it for herpes. That killed her in 18 months.

You need some serious counseling and get out of your own way.

The chance that I will infect someone within a year is about zero. I haven't touched anyone in 23 years. The one time that I did touch a guy with a ring finger on his forehead a couple of years ago, he had to have the touched skin surgically removed.

The flue lasts only fourteen days at most. Herpes is forever.
In any case with my impaired immune system I might die from the flue - and if not from the flue, then from the herpes that accompanies it. Often when having flue I barely survived.
Nope, it is a certainty that when I touch someone, they eventually will die from herpes. Because my immune system is impaired, I am daily afflicted with herpes - it is only my restrictive diet that has saved my life.

You are as ignorant in this as health workers like physicians. Did you know that people that have AIDS and herpes die from the herpes within six months? Not lethal? Herpes is more lethal than AIDS and the plague combined; it just takes a couple of decades longer to kill you - usually. Not mutilating? You ought to have seen my symptoms. There have been days when I could not walk and could not turn my key in the lock. It is just that in people with a healthy immune system the symptoms are not as clearcut as in me with my impaired immune system.

I have as yet no evidence that ALS is caused by a herpes virus.
I had my first heart attack at seventeen, less than half a year after I got infected.

I need the inactivated part of my immune system to be activated again so it can fight the infection - hoping that my immune system then does not kill my heart for that might be severely infected.
I also need to be cured from this infection. If anyone can cure me, health care costs world wide will drop by eighty per cent - and most physicians will end up without patients.

To be honest wit you none of these fit.  I tend to choose men who are my age or older (to a point, I would be too afraid to play with a Dom who might keel over) but there's no set age group.
