I work as a server at an ale house, and today a customer came up to me while I was stocking pint glasses, "Do you sell beer here? Like, alchohol?"

I was so close to either bursting into hysterical laughter or blinking stupidly and asking if he were serious. I actually mannaged to confirm with a straight face that yes, the bar he was currently standing in did in fact sell beer.

Some peoples' children, I'm tellin' ya...

I work at an adult store and I can't tell you how many people have come in, honestly perplexed and asked if we sold Vibrators. Our store is quite big and over half the walls are almost floor to ceiling toys.

I also had another girl come in looking for XXL condoms. I showed her what we had and she asked "If they don't fit, can I bring them back?" Well, I may have laughed at her. I said no, seriously what would we do with an open box of condoms? For one. And two....what part of ALL SALES FINAL do people not understand?

Maybe she thought you could sell the unopened packets individually? Sell 'em back to idiots like her at twenty-five cents each or three for a dollar.

No, she was just stupid. That happens alot in my industry.

A woman came in once with her toy wrapped in a plastic bag. We opened the bag, the toy was wet and she told us she had used it 6 or 7 times and it broke. Then she just stood there. We looked at each other in silence and then she asked if we could do anything about it. Exchange, refund. I looked at her again for a moment, said no, all sales are final. Plus, it was USED! ew!

Send it to the manufacturer. So many people think we HAVE to return merchandise, they don't realize it's NOT law.
