No, no, no this is NOT one of THOSE threads. Couldn't resist the parody-bait though. So Shoo, you drama vampires! Nothing here for you! I see this more as an internet physics question. Something is popping up in a lot of profiles these days that has me intrigued...but so far too cautious to indulge my curiousity. Lots of profiles have these blank fields in them. Alas, they don't look planned. You never see one follow a question like, "What is your darkest sickest fantasy?" Or ""Social Security Number?" Instead, they appear in random parts of the profile, often at the end. But they are form fields! You can click in them. You can type in them, usually. But what happens when you hit enter? That's the part I have been too nervous to do. I've typed some charming little messages in these profile text boxes but I've been afraid that if I hit enter they'll get the password to my bank account, my personal email address, and my true name. And I'll get a nasty trojan in exchange. So does anybody know the answer to this riddle? How do people manage to get form fields in their profiles and why are they there? Like I said, they don't seem to be coherently connected to any meaninful text. They're just...there. Some profiles have one. Some have half a dozen. Maybe those with half a dozen are rich sugar daddies?? Puzzled in PervertLand. PS: While I am asking questions, what the heck are "Collarchat Developer Tools?" I don't exactly know how I got them and they are long gone now (no xml validation, so who needs it? :p ) but I assume I wasn't supposed to see that? ;)
