LaMalinche -> Profiles and time limits (3/15/2006 3:22:58 AM)

I did not realize that profiles could disappear so quickly. . . With no pic and a scant profile of my own, I get little mail (BTW I like it this way). But I got a PM today saying that this person would "like to get to know me better." Hmmm. . . . perfectly fine, just when I opened the PM I really did not feel like typing a few sentences about myself. I just came back to it . . . and there is no profile and no way to send a message. So, does anyone know, just how long does it take to delete a profile or have it deleted (I am not even sure if this is an automated feature)? And another question, what was the point of sending me a PM if they were not going to be around to read it? This is not the first time that this has happened to me. I will often wait to reply, so that I can think about a "good" reply first. It is annoying to think about a reply and then not be able to send it. I suppose that it boils down to it being the internet and all. . . but in a matter of hours? Sheesh. . . give me at least a day to respond. Thank you all. Best, LaMalinche If you're trying to take a roomful of people by surprise, it's a lot easier to hit your targets if you don't yell going through the door. "The Warrior's Apprentice", 1986
