whom ruled their

and both had lifestyles
that where not the norm
for their times.
I think as Eleanor Id of give

I must agree with Mistress Dread, Eleanor of Aquitaine deserves to have others collared to her rather than be collared herself, unless she actually wanted to be collared, which i doubt.

If i could be any of my favorite medieval figures, though, i don't think i'd have time for bdsm...... Hypatia of Alexandria, Abbess Hilda of Whitby, Hildegard of Bingen...... they were probably too busy being brilliant for anything else.

On the other hand, does penetential self-laceration count as bdsm? If it does, then count me in again. The nerdy nun in some prominent scriptorium with a vellum codex in one hand and a flogger in the other-- Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi (whi-ching)..... miserere nobis (whi-ching)..... dona nobis pacem (whi-ching)..... Ya, that's me all over.
