Taxes will go up, the dollar will go down. At some point the government will own just about everything. Then there will be either a refolution or intercene strife. I bet it will be intercene strife. People have no concept of a revolution, nor the balls to do it. I consider my odds on that bet to be about 80% possibility I am right. Any takers for fair money ? The throwaway society will expand. Right now it is bad ipods that fell in the toilet and all that, but we are looking at $5,000 TVs being scrapped at the age of two years because you can't get the part, and we are also looking at $35,000 vehicle that will be scrapped, stolen or otherwise lost because the owner cannot afford the repair. We will have the most highly rated contractors build and repair our houses and buildings, but will need a good hack to come in and tell what was done wrong. Does anyone understand WTF I am saying ? While I can't tell you if Oprah is going to gain or lose five pounds next week, I didn't want to anyway. But the trends and the important things, of those I will look upon with much interest. I figure WW3 will be in about 8 years, but really who cares if it is in 7 or 9 years ? Trying to predict with pinpoint accuracy is a bad road. And it works both ways, can anyone tell me how many stitches Betsy Ross put into the original US flag ? So now that we know that this purported 20/20 hindsight is not true, how can you expect the same accuracy from forsight ? T
