the one thing I've seemed to miss here is what is considered "humiliation"... I would think its open for debate, as something that is humiliating for one person would not be to another.
For the posts I've seen about husbands that humiliate wives, children, friends, family, etc etc... there is a clear distinction between being Dominant and Domineering. Dominant is to exercise control or authority over another. Domineering is to do so in an arrogant or contemptuous manner.
Me, being Dominant, I view humiliation play as something done in public... like muttering the keyword in the sluts ear and watching her try to keep her feet under her while cumming in the checkout line at the grocery store. The husbands and children that speak as you have posted are clearly not Dominant, they're just emotionally damaging bullies that clearly have to act that way to hide their own insecurities.
In what we practice on a day to day basis, everything is open and valid to the two parties involved... and noone else. What may be construed as abuse to some surely is not to others, and I'd feel sorry for anyone that would come at Me telling Me that what I do with My property is "abusive", as they would find out in short order exactly what abuse and humiliation is all about.
