Status: offline 		I don't have children an am not planning on it for a good while,but i not help but wonder
should i tell my future childern? if so how? if not how do you hide it and still have fun ?
i am on the fence about it so i go back and forth there i have no opinion. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Status: offline 		Well, frankly I would not worry too much right now.  When you decide that you do want to have children it is doubtful that anything in your life is going to be just the same as it is now.  Being a parent is a lot of work and using some sense will see youthrough this decidion at the time.  Relax, keep using pregnancy prevention and put this worry off until it is more likely to happen. 

Furthermore all children are different and so it will depend greatly on how your child reacts to things.  (I am thinking when they are old enough to even understand.)

Yeah, type out exactly everything your mom and dad told you about how they make the beast..........

That's about the interest level your children are ever gonna have in how you are tatting in the tweeds......

It is just yuckfuckinO to them, I see this alot and don't understand how anyone feels they must gross out their children with this stuff.

(I do mean this in the best possible way).

Ok i have to tell you about this...its TOO funny! My oldest(28) knows i'm "kinky" (no gory details of course, she doesn't want them, and i don't think its appropriate) Well she saw my flogger in my closet, and when i walked in and saw her with it, i said "cool isn't it?"....

OMG!  She jumped a mile a threw it like it bit her or something LMFAO...That was priceless....We still laugh about it   Ok sorry to hi jack.
EDITED to add: some pay back for the fuckin fake spiders!

Status: offline 		Let's be honest here, most kids don't even like to think that their parents had sex in the first place, never mind trying to comprehend anything of the kink variety! I think if most kids learned that their parents undertook some sort of D/s activity, as well as lived/living the lifestyle, then they'd go totally postal!

As for me, my birth was purely based around immaculate conception. Honest.

Echoing Ron.....Children generally don't WANT to know what their parents do when hot and sweaty, on the sexual front.....if that's what you mean by *it*.

On the other hand, mine know that there is some higher power where I'm concerned....and it isn't God. They have all managed to survive that knowledge.......lol

Status: offline 		I guess i'm thinking as far teens go ... i guess that they would care to know either really , as far as the young ones go we all they snoop(i did) i would hate them find that  and later bring it up in front someone else(i.e. MY parents)

I don't talk about *me* per se, unless they actually ask me specifically but I'm content to discuss bdsm if they bring it up. They know it goes on and like most other things in our herb garden.....it's nothing of note. We spend far more time discussing school/college work/ deadlines, the amount of mugs in their bedrooms and who should be doing the dishwasher. Bdsm is old hat.

But to the OP, how much do you talk to your mom about her sex life?
I mean, like, did you mom tell you how much she gets off on being sodomized by your dad? Or how she blew him in the front seat of his Camaro at the parking lot after a Warrant concert in 1983? Or how you were concieved that night in 1989 when....

OK, have I grossed you out yet? Because thats kinda how your kids are going to feel in 2029 when you start telling them about your sex life.

Relax. We didn't invent sex, neither did our parents, or grandparents. They had wonderful rich erotic lives, as we do, as your kids someday will, but no one wants to hear about their parents or kids sex lives.

Can you clarify what kind of "fun" you think you'll be having in front of children, whether or not they are aware of BDSM?

A) You are not supposed to be in there.

B) Those are mommy's things not yours.

C) You know that you are not supposed to be getting into other people's things. 


I am the parent, I am NOT obligated to explain my lifestyle choices to a child.  Especially a child that is sneaking.
