TeeGO -> Sound proof Motel chain?? (3/16/2006 3:01:48 AM)

I'm wondering if anybody knows of a Motel chain with sound proof rooms or of a scene friendly motel in the Chicagoland area? I have some friends that played at a Fairfield Inn and had them knocking on their door.

Any help would be appreciated, I know somebody that could use that info for tonight.

Thanks

You should be looking for a dungeon that hires out play spaces, not a hotel/motel.

You may be able to find space to rent in one of these establishments.

a small tip & something I have done in the past

If it is off season there are typically many rooms not used. What I have done is asked the clerk to place me away from the first rooms to be booked & tell them that I am suffering extreme jet-lag, planning to sleep & I do not wish to be disturbed by guests arriving later in the evening.

It is still a chance you take. Try ballgags?

lol! I have never had a submissive scream as much as my pup does! Ball gag? He is almost as loud with them as he is without it lol The last time we stayed at a hotel, the man in the room next to us banged on the wall and told him to be quiet lol Needless to say, we dont stay at hotel rooms anymore <g>

Once being beat from traveling I was asleep early evening in a hotel room only to be woken by someone being beat up in the next room. It was only because I was groggy from sleep I couldn't find the phone which happened to be under my clothes that stopped me calling reception , that gave me enough time to realise that the pounding on flesh sounded more like someone's hide taking some punishment rather than someone's chin catching a fist. I found it amusing but when I left my hotel room at the same time as the woman who was having fun next door, she turned bright red at realising I must have heard all her grunts and squeals that not even an obvious gag could muffle. I was selling at a fetish exhibition fair and there seemed a lot of mixing business with pleasure. It seems strange that noises emanating from a hotel room can be more embarrassing than actually flaunting your stuff round a the exhibition area floor which was where I next saw the woman.

Teego, doing a search with the words "motel, chicago, soundproof" turns up the Best Western on East Ohio and the Four Seacsons on East Delaware.

It seems few of the motels will soundproof their rooms. I'm betting those that do, also have a higher price. I know hotels will soundproof their rooms but again, your looking at the higher price ranges. Good luck.

You have to adapt when playing in motel rooms. I alter my play in motels and it becomes more of a discipline, teasing and toy scene. I won’t flog, spank or paddle, but that leaves many other options. Yeah, I'm worried about someone knocking on the door because of the sound. A good question and I wish someone really knew of a soundproof motel chain.

Hotels/motels are built cheap. Sound proofing is not required and it's expensive so they don't do it. Even places like the Marriott and Hilton don't spend the extra money soundproffing rooms. Stay away from those places unless you are going to gag your sub and even then it's not a good idea.

When I lived in Chicago, there was a motel opposite Midway Airport (on Cicero Avenue) which advertised "sound proof rooms". I think it was called The Airliner, although I may be wrong. Its been 15 years and I never visited the place - I only drove past it.

They also used to advertise "Low Nap Rates" so it probably wasn't very swanky.

Try the Sybarus, or find a motel with individual cabin like rooms. Or you could try any of the hotel chains near Midway, or O Hare airports, thou most of the soundproofing is in the exterior walls, and not interior ones.

One thing that works well for quick bondage in a motel are the leather wrist straps made to fit over a door frame. I got ours on ebay for about $15.[:)]

You're telling me! A word to the wise: make sure you don't hang someone from the sprinkler.

I suggest bringing a CD player or turning the TV on fairly loud. That helps mask the sounds especially a shoot-em-up type of movie... *grins*

Oh, were you the guy at the Ramada New Carolton?

Some flood!

Lordandmaster -> RE: Sound proof Motel chain?? (3/17/2006 5:06:01 PM)

Well, no, I only IMPERSONATE a dumass. But it's something I might have done in my crazy youth. I was just fortunate that in those days I couldn't afford hotel rooms with sprinklers.
