For the non sports fan, this is not a rant, it is what they call the National College Basketball Tournament...and it is a blast to watch (If you like basketball?)
Today at Noon the tournament kicks off and people are skipping out of work across the country to watch as the Davids (small colleges) try to slay the Golliaths (Large colleges)....and to watch as the field of 64 trims itself to 32, then 16, then 8 and finally the Final Four.
So, Your Picks for the Final Four? I have Texas,Boston College, North Carolina and UCLA
with Boston College winning it all

For the non sports fan What does March Madness mean to you? Spring is in the air and I'm horny? I'm pissed because it is raining too much? Am I gong crazy because everybar I go into there is a game on and the bar is full at noon? etc......you tell me.

This is an equal opportunity thread....so, let the Madness begin.

So do I...love basketball that is...as for baseball...I just can't seem to find an interest in it...so, spring and summer mean...the wait for football has begun lol.

Sometimes I will catch alittle basket ball... but baseball woooooooohooooooooooooooooo

And oh yeah......... just that much closer to the NFL... love of my life... (Hope Nascar didn't hear that...LOL)

As for non sports ........ love the rain... so not a problem.. what I hate and call March Madness.. is Mother nature not being able to make up her mind as to Hot or Cold weather!
We went from 30's.. to 80's.. back to 40's.. in 7 days... COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No damn wonder I can't shake this cold... LOL

Yes, baseball games are for attending not watching on TV. Football is much better suited to watching on TV.

As for March Madness......Go Boston College! [:D]

Boston College went to North Carolina for the ACC tournament and beat Maryland, then North Carolina and Barely lost to Duke by 2 points......that was impressive.

I too enjoy watching football the most, but this is a wonderful filler. As for baseball, I love to play it, but agree with all, watching it on T.V. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

MarchMadness outside of sports.........Mad if I don't have someone in mind to beat by Spring, but this March it is not a problem[:D]

We are heading to the Mexico / USA game later today in Anaheim. Could be Roger Clemen's last game, unless 3rd times a charm for coming out of "retirement".

Unlike most regular season games, this should be a fun game to attend. Outside the US there is much more fan participation at games. I hope the Mexican influence will bring some spirit which is usually missing from the; "need to click the channel every 15 seconds", American crowd.

Played most of them on one level or another and LOVE it all - tough not to be a fan when you grew up with da Bull, da Bears, da Cubs, da Hawks, and da World Champion White Sox
