SomethingCatchy -> My rant about SPAM from 'sub-shop' (12/11/2009 3:40:26 PM)

I shopped there last year, and then I unsubscribed to the newsletters advertising sales. I kept getting random spam email from the website in my spam folder, but didn't think much about it. Now it appears she made a different email address and this one hasn't been blocked by my spam filter yet.

I refuse to shop there because of the spam.

Okay......then don't.  Problem solved *shrugs*

I keep a "junk email" address (free yahoo) that I use when I buy stuff online. I watch it when I've got stuff on order, and ignore the spam that piles up otherwise.
I had a rather bad experience with Sub Shop, no I no longer order from them.

I wasn't asking for a solution, I was ranting.

I thought the thread title said "sub drop."  Damn...

Off to other pastures...

~Fast Reply~

I have recently made my first order with sub shop and had an amazing experience where I had a problem and it was solved very quickly via e-mails in the last half hour of the business day. The product came quickly and was even better than I thought it would be. So far I haven't noticed any spam.

Yup, I was going to suggest that too. only I call them shill addresses, or throw away email addresses.

Because they're for that purpose only, and if they get over ran with spam, just chuck them uot an start again.
