Don't worry LilFiregirl, we Domly types get the same type of thing on our end. The IM usually starts out with

"Permission to speak to You, Ma'am?"

sounds ultra polite and courteous, but what it means is "may I assault your eyes with my fantasies and then ask you to elaborate on them with incessant What would you do to me if I were Yours questions?"

and then, if we are so unbelievably rude as to mention that we don't know this person and therefore at this point have no idea that we would like to know them let alone use them for our pleasure we are called fakes, phonies, and men pretending to be Domme's so that we can jerk off to the fantasies of subs.

your best bet when you get youngins like that who are looking to play on the computer while their parents are away is to either ignore them, be rude back, or play dumb ( which is my personal favorite for dealing with idiots like that )

My best suggestion to you about on-line etiquette is to try very hard not to be one of the rude ones yourself and then just let the others go by. "Make like a duck" as my ol' daddy used to say, and let it was off your back.

Of course I still think you should answer someone who writes you even if it is rude. Just send them back one of the short replies and then don't bother with them again.

So however you perfer to message people. One is best to stick with what he/she feels comfortable with and stick to being themselves. After all, it can be difficult finding out who likes the nice message and who likes the dirty ones.
