Drama is fueled by insecurity and immaturity.

I thought this summed up a good part of the answer very nicely.

On a rare occasion, there are folks who have been around here a while that might 'flip out' if something extreme happened.  Considering clip's current location, if I didn't hear from him in a week, I'd probably be worried about it.  I'd probably even mention it on the boards because I would be that concerned.  I think most people would get that.

We did have one time that clip got overly concerned about a head injury of Mine when he was a good distance away.  I think he plastered every board attempting to get people to convince Me to see a doctor, in case it was more serious than I thought it was.  Most people were very understanding about that.

LOL I find it funny.
I go on a forum that is mostly people in their early twenties (college students just wanting to pass the time)
and... there is less drama there than there is here..

you think people would be more mature here.. but eh...ya...nope.

Justme696 -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 11:49:41 AM)

why would we be more mature...because we like something different?

we are the same mix of people as you find everywere.

lilmisssubmiss -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 11:52:34 AM)

Most of the people here on the forum are older especially the people who mostly post.

I find it funny that a 50 year old man would cause as much drama if not more than a 19 year old man.

Justme696 -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 11:55:13 AM)

I think every one can cause drama when the right nerve is touched..no matter what age.

lilmisssubmiss -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 11:56:32 AM)

Sure, of course.

But, some of the members here go way overboard  with the drama on here.. and it baffles me because I look at their ages and LOL it's pathetic.

Justme696 -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 12:05:22 PM)

Is age a reason to not have drama?
Age doesn't mean perfection. Perhaps age does make you care more for certain things that younger people don't give a .... about.
I don't know. I see drama on every forum. It is easy to ignore.

lilmisssubmiss -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 12:18:32 PM)

i think there's a certain point in a time where you should be able to grow up and mature, yes.

Justme696 -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 12:57:42 PM)

that point is propably afther we die
till that time it just seems to happen..lol

LaTigresse -> RE: Bloody drama (12/12/2009 3:53:06 PM)

No, I know many people that do not need melodrama, they do not create it, they do not thrive on it, draw it to them, radiate it, delight in it.

Age does not matter........only self confidence and maturity.

I think drama is more of a personality thing rather than an age thing.

I will Cali, I promise. I even bookmarked it. I just want to be able to give it the attention it deserves and I'm too tired.

we are cursed with feelings and brains
without those life would have been eassier and we would not have drama.
(and propably a small forum)

I think the post by Justme696 sumed it all up.

This stuff happens with all kinds of people regardless of label, orientation, color, background and blah blah blah blah...
