i don't really see the logic in saying one has to bottom before they can top, but it is a good idea to have friends and mentors on both sides of the equation, whether you're new or been at it for twenty years it's still nice to have others to talk with who understand where you're coming from and what you're talking about, i also believe it's also good whether you're sub or dom/me to have a good understanding of the other side of the coin, both sides have obligations to the other party, and while dom/mes are the ones most often called out about ignoring this fact subs actually tend to be worse about it

I personally (as of yet) have no desire to be dominated. I've ask subs A LOT of questions. They really appreciate my curiosity. As I go along, I feel as if I understand more and more. That will be as close to submitting as I will get (for now). Who knows what may peek my interest or appetite in years to come. Never say never.
