maybe you don't have a good connection with a professional dominatrix, like you would have with your own dom.
are you looking for a power exchange relationship, or are you more interested in kinky play? depending on which one you're after, there are all sorts of suggestions.
it's someone difficult to relate to, for me, because i'm a generally submissive person anyway, and orgasm tends to make me more so. =p lack of orgasms causes me to feel frustrated and then snarky (it's something i've been trying to get a handle on -- snarkiness is never flattering), or sometimes cloudy-headed.
if i'm planning to just play with someone, like at a party, there are all sorts of lines they can't cross. but if it's my own Dominant partner, there aren't many lines if the connection, trust, and relationship are solid and usually that's what motivates me. a lot of what i am willing to do depends on the man who wants me to do it. =p if i paid for a scene with a professional Dom, i wouldn't feel that connection -- i'd just be there to get my rocks off, basically.
so if you're more interested in play, it may be hard to maintain submissive desires, because you're desires are mostly play based. You might have to negotiate a "force" element to your sessions with a ProDom because the submission is gone, and is not enough of a motivation to complete the task.
