This is dedicated and posted to all those who have been disappointed and are so skeptical of internet meeting places. I had become one of that crowd and had basically given up. I only chatted and answered mail to keep up with a few friends I had made here. I logged on one day and spotted a new email address. The profile was nothing fancy, simply stated as to what he was looking for followed by a genuinely written email. I responded, he responded asking if we could chat on the phone, three days later he drove sixty miles to see me.
The day came along and I walked out onto my balcony (that overlooked the parking lot) and watched as he unpacked his bike. I pinged him with my energy wondering if he would feel it. *big grin* He looked up and smiled and said, "Hey there little girl."
He walked through the door (mmm, all dressed in his leather) and just as soon as his ruck hit the floor, he turned and those incredible blue eyes caught mine and I knew I was had. He smiled and I was just mush. Twenty minutes into his visit I was his.
I still think about our first meeting and cannot believe it happened as it did. Two weekends and he owned me. Five months later I am living with him and living the life I have only been able to dream of... Dreams really do come true.
It hasn't all been easy street for us, but we made a commitment to each other that we were 'committed' and there was no walking away, even when things may seem hopeless. What more could a slave girl ask for? *huge thankful grin*
I now live near Ft. Lewis for now. We will be here for at least another two years, one while he prepares a group of guys for tour, another while they are in Iraq. After that who knows where we will wind up. But there is one thing for certain... our family will be together.
So, there you go, my little collarme dream come true story.
