Yeah I once had this "friend" that developed a serious rash around his balls and cock....I went to the doctor to see if he could help my friend.  I guess I am just nice that way.

Fucking friends.  They really piss me fucking off. Always getting in the way and making us look like complete asshats to the rest of the world.

SirRussellP -> RE: slave contract (12/23/2009 12:41:40 PM)

For all of you that say you have no contract you should say I don't have a written contract.  All a contract is in its simplest form is an agreement.

Now I use a contract and I go through a lot of work and so does she to fill in a contract.  It lets us both know what we will be to each other.  So it isn't enforceable in court many written contracts aren't.

Service and employment to name 2.  What the contract does though is show that each party agreed to this before hand give each a little protection if the other decides to sue.

For me it shows her that I am serious about her and should do the same in reverse.

If you doubt your slave's commitment, a contract won't help.

If you don't doubt it, you don't need a contract.

We'd suggest that a contract has value if you sit down and negotiate out as much of the rules and expectations as you can... certainly slave contracts have no validity in US courts (Mexican courts being a thing of folly in the first place maybe another story) but having a reference in writing down the road to re-negotiate when the time is appropriate may be helpful.

It isn't the contract itself that has value, it is the work you put into it.

I don't believe in contracts, For me, it is all or nothing

I don't like the whole concept of contracts, primarily because I don't think contract law is the correct framework for the negotiation of a D/s relationship.  A contract is an agreement between power-equals, but a D/s relationship is based in an inequal distribution of power.

lots of contracts are part of a public ritual in front of other perverts, affirming the relationship, often incorporating a formal collaring

if it works i have no problem

it's just not something i feel necessary for myself, but if my if my woman/slut/slave/whore/bitch/worthless piece of trash ( if i left anything out, i apologize ) would find it comforting i could do it

my thing is if it doesn't hinder my getting what i want, why not let her have something

and besides i'd be thinking of ways to use the collar against her, hmmmmmm

ya know writing things out makes you think

persephonee -> RE: slave contract (12/24/2009 11:05:25 AM)

Did you mean "use the contract against her?"  That's the other issue with contracts (and laws); there's this Taoist idea that contracts force people to break promises, and laws force them to break rules.  Anything written down is open to interpretation, and differing interpretations can lead to arguments.  For some people this can be fun.  I love arguing the law.  For other people it can create non-stop friction.

well actually both as a psychological ploy, i'm warped like that

No, no no.  It's like this:

"You're in violation of the rules.  You'll have to be punished."
"What rule?"
"Section 17, paragraph 6, subsection a."
She quickly reads the section in question.
"But...but if I do that, then I'll be violating section 12, paragraph 19, subsection d!"
"Violation of section 12, paragraph 19, subsection d will result in punishment."
"So I get punished either way?"
"Now you're getting it."

It's my game, my rules.  You lose if you play.
