There is a new website which is a free reverse picture verification site. You input either the url of the page where the pic is, or you can upload it from your harddrive. It checks that pic against almost 2 billion websites all over the world, to see if that pic is anywhere else on the web. It works. The site is free. I don't work for them, I want to clean up CM. The best part is, when you do check a pic, it becomes part of the database they check, so using it makes it better. You dont have to sign up, though you can. They don't ask for verification or credit card and they dont spam you. Not only can you check the pics on anyone's profile you are interested in, but you can check your own pics to see if anyone has stolen them. The website is www.tineye.com It's so easy to use anyone can do it. Simply report stolen pics to the CM staff, with the urls that TinEye finds that match the ones you checked, and by law, they have to remove them, and hopefully the whole profile.

Also, there is no proof which one stole the other, and that the original site actually owns the picture, which has been placed out in the public domain. I'm not a lawyer, but...

I can see how it would be helpful if you're checking to see if anyone has stolen your pictures. However, when you're checking a picture on someone else's profile, tineye can tell you if it exists on the other sites it checks, but it can't tell you which is the original and which were stolen.

This is a very good find! I too have become frustrated with the number of fakes on this site, many who just copy and paste photos/info. Only problem is, 2 billion websites is nothing compared to the sheer number of websites in the world, and it doesn't help that bdsm related websites such as collarme.com are unknown to the search algorithm. It isn't much but its a start if many people from CM use it!

Good comments from everyone. Ive pulled up dozens of matches of CM from fake profiles so far. usually when it finds matches, it finds multiple matches. Often one of the matrches is a modeling site, so its pretty obvious which is trhe original. I've also had it pull a match against another fake CM profile with the same pic, so it is checking CM pages, and the more of us who use it, the more it will check. If CM doesn't remove the pics or profiles, inform the site which matches it that one of their pics has been stolen and give them the CM URL. I'm guessing that things will happen real fast, then.

Collarme is staffed mostly by volunteers and uses a system that relies on user complaints about a profile to spur action. If you have proof that a photo is stolen, then you get to log a single complaint. The swift actions on this site are for those that are into illegal sexual activities, such as sex with minors.

I once found a profile with a picture of Belladonna (the porn star) as their image. Pretty sure it wasn't actually her. Must have gotten a number of complaints, since it didn't last one day.

Yep. I too have My picture on other websites with different screen names. I only have one pic of Me here, but I've already heard people say it was fake...lol. Why would I put up a picture of some random woman holding a cat in a non-sexy pose/outfit? But, people scream fake at anything and everything. This site will likely add to that frenzy, causing more and more unwanted mail in the potential fake person's inbox...sounds lovely. Let's all just start sending YOU ARE A FAKE! emails to everyone who has a picture.

Fake is just one in a list of insults hurled by the rejected.........at least that has been my experience. The irony is that the guys pretending to be women are the worst at the insult hurling.
