I'm not sure of what this says about the state of journalism in the US today, but I'm sure it says something. As of today, Tiger Woods has been on the front page of the NY Post for 20 days in a row. This beats the record of any story or issue reported upon. The old record was 18 days. The subject? The 9/11 attack that brought down the World Trade Center.

It's good to know our national and journalistic priorities are in order.

I kinda doubt that any women linked to OBL would be half as good looking as those Tiger has gotten.

Apparently, it's democratic for journalists to give the public what the public wants. What the public wants, the public gets, and apparently the public wants mindeless scandals and nothing less. "Don't think. Consume."

So you'd prefer they were focusing on Climategate instead?  Or are you just jealous of all the tail he's been getting?

I think I heard Blacksword one time say it the best (albeit, it wasn't about Tiger, but about Michael Jackson).  The Tiger Woods news and news about celebrities are what the news media should be reporting on.  Not distorting and taking bias with political parties and reporting their bias as the news.  I, for one, would rather the media be reporting on celebrities, than getting involved with all the other crap they do.  I can look up the other crap for myself.
