I am very new to the community in general, and very heartbroken at the moment. Just this week my best friend explained to me that she had some mystical, "heavy" feeling when she was around me that I was "hiding something dark", so she hacked my e-mail and after digging through it, found out I was into BDSM, and announced that she can't associate with me anymore.

So, I guess I'm explaining that because I am desperate to find friends who will simply accept this preference of mine without breaking my heart & talking a bunch of ignorant drivel about how it's unhealthy and disgusting to do what I do.

I really hope I can find some friends here.

PS what is that big fat VANILLA ice cream cone and how do I get rid of it ha.

Mary

Welcome

Look upon what happened with your friend as a bonus. Someone who would hack your private email isn't a friend. She just showed her true colours

The logo is just a result of not having posted much. With a few more under your belt it will disappear as will the "vanilla" designator

Greetings & welcome to CM missprivate,
I'm sure that you'll make some wonderful friends here *hugs*

MasterOwnskitty -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/17/2006 5:15:19 PM)

Welcome to the site and hopefully you'll have even better friends here than the ones who were in your old world. Oh and the ice cream cone will be gone after you post here another 25 times, I guarantee it. :-)

candystripper -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/17/2006 5:16:49 PM)

Welcome. i know how difficult it is to lose a friend, and to lose one in that manner is confusing, repugnant and ignorant. You will find acceptance here; apart from your usage of Y/you type talk and various other unresolvable hot issues, LOL. JohnWarren is right; you didn't lose anything of any value. i'm sorry it drove you here in a heart broken way, but i'm delighted you're here. And btw, Y/you is the proper form of address....ROFLMAO.

(May as well recruit her to O/our side.)

This probably won't make you feel better today, but in fact you didn't lose a friend. She wasn't a friend.

Dear Mary,

I'm hijacking your experience to make one of my own belabored points here....

Hey Everybody!!!!

Please think about this when you so cavalierly recommend, demand, suggest, expect, and pontificate that the KINKY SPOUSE should just be "honest" with the VANILLA SPOUSE. Maybe this will give you some, tiny-weenie sense of the trepidation a Kinky spouse feels in making any disclosures......

TemptingNviceSub -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/17/2006 7:27:01 PM)

So sorry to hear of your experience...it is always hard to find out the ones you care about are capable of such treachery.But I can tell you are strong just simply by not locking yourself away ..instead you have taken it on the chin and have gone on..good for you!....Welcome to CM and all the very strong minded, intelligient, individuals you will find on here...be well...tempting.

Hi there!

you lost nothing, a friend sticks by you... she was merely someone who you thought was your friend. If you ever want to simply talk, let me know..

Been there/done that!!

Welcome, and while I am sorry for what led here, I also think you will find a lot of good acquaintances and even a few friends here. Real ones, unlike that which was recently lost. All the best to you.

CelticPrince -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/19/2006 9:06:02 AM)

missprivate,

simply put it out of your mind, when on the path, only we others care to understand.

Good Luck

CP

sweetbbwsub31 -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/23/2006 8:14:08 PM)

It is sad to see that so many out there just can not be open minded enough to accept others for who they are. I also continue to strive to find friends that are lifestyle friendly. I am new to the site but glad to see so many who understand me. Consider me an ear if you ever need one sweetie.

A true friend would not hack into your private affairs.  And a true friend would accept you for who you are.  When i told a close friend of who and what i really am, i was very nervous about her reaction.  She said, "Honey...I love YOU.  You are my friend, whomever you are."  And then she hugged me.  And then she asked me all sorts of questions about it.

Not everyone can expand their minds.  my ex husband told me i was sick and brainwashed when i told him.

So...welcome here.  Enjoy the spirited debates, the support, the shared ideas, the arguments, and the love shared.  :)

controller4you -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/23/2006 9:25:18 PM)

Greetings, I guess you found out that she wasn't really much of a friend.  One to hack into your computer and two to walk away because of what was found.

Hang in there and be patient.   You will find many friends on here and LOTS of support.

 Iam so sorry that this has happend to you.. I know how it feels to feel like you have to hide. Here there are no dark corners or others telling you, you are a freak.. I hide who I was for along time then married my first Master,no one knew anything untell one day when the hospital called to tell my Mom she needed to get up there,,,, then I went in hiding again and married a nilla man((boy that didnt work)) to make a long story short,,, I found myself sitting in the road one day wishing to get hit, to stop the pain from hiding and not being who I realy was.  But I found a friend and he helped me. and now I stand very proud to say that Iam a slave, I find great honor in serving. I hope the same for you!!  You will make it!

WOW looks like I get a ice cream today as well... O well it goes well with HOT fudge LOL     BE WELL<<<< SBAYOULADY

lateralist -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/24/2006 10:16:04 AM)

What can I say that hasn't been said. I agree with all of it. When I first came into the lifestyle I told my close work colleagues. I was so happy that I had found what I needed. They told everyone else and the result was I got the sack for my profile on here. I was very very stupid. Yes Dommes can be stupid to. But hey it was only a job. My vanilla husband still loves me and I have some wonderful subs.
Take care Mistress Lizbeth
ps thanks for telling me about the ice cream

bklynbbw -> RE: Brokenhearted. (3/24/2006 10:22:13 AM)

the friendship would have ended for me no matter her reaction to my lifestyle    just the fact that she hacked into my email proved she was no friend.  not a person i would want in my life
