Usually when one needs "down time" it usually stems from doing a task that is overwhelming, boring or does not come naturally.

Now, being that all dommes are just subs in wolves clothing this does not strike me as being odd in the least.

How many time has Jo called looking for a little down time as an escape from all of her pussyfied male subs and to enjoy a thorough Domidonging?..........Countless.

Merry Christmas Lockit! Thanks for the great, thought-provoking thread!

I schedule plenty of down time into my life, both as a D type and when I was slave as well. Since I have a very demanding career, it is possible that I might tank, if I didn't have enough rest and relaxation on a regular basis. And then what good would I be to myself, or anybody else? 

So when I'm taking time to relax, recover and recharge, I'm not being selfish. I'm thinking of myself and everyone who depends on me!

Hmmm... well as I said in my earlier post, when I need down time, I meditate, exercise, get a massage or mani/pedi, turn off my phone for a day, rent a bunch of movies and curl up on the couch, get a house cleaning service, go out for drinks/dinner with the girls, go on a shopping spree, etc.

So you will give me a massage? A mani/pedi? You better practice as I'm really picky!! Clean my house? Again, I'm really picky so you better scrub and shine! Are you going to chauffeur me and the girls around town as we go for martinis and dinner? Will you be my mule and carry my parcels?

Wow! Maybe, just maybe, if you do all this I'll call you for sure!
