Al Qaeda is clearing women to become suicide bombers. I think this is good in a way because it means they’re desperate and losing and hopefully there will be a backlash against them.

In what is thought to be her first public statement, Omaima Hassan published a statement on Islamic web sites Thursday that encouraged "Muslim sisters" to assist with jihad, but only in suitably feminine ways. She called supporting jihad "an obligation for all Muslims, men and women." ABC News could not independently confirm the authenticity of the statement.

Status: offline 		Perhaps this is sadly a good sign that they have been driven to use public announcements for recruitment but it isn't a tactic that hasn't been already in usage..nor children for that matter.

In all honesty I think a lot in the Arab countries would welcome significant change to have more freedoms but speaking out for it is pretty much a death sentence. That is a really strong motivator to stay silent or even publicly deny they want such a thing. I am quite surprised that that news article included Obama calling the Yemen President. I am glad it did though because it really gets old that the US and its allies are always doing things without reasons except pure greed.

Those who tried to access Twitter were redirected to a site that had a green flag and proclaimed “This site has been hacked by Iranian Cyber Army.”

"In the past few years, we've been seeing a rise in desire for hacking by insurgents and terrorist groups," said Nasr. Not only do they hack outside sites, but they hack each other's, she said. "The idea of 'cyber terrorism' and 'cyber insurgency' has been manifested in many ways -- (with) hacking individual sites being the most infamous."
