Status: offline 		The Lebanese host of a popular TV show who gave callers advice and sometimes predicted the future was sentenced to death by a court in Saudi Arabia in November for sorcery. Human rights groups say these cases are on the rise in the strictly religious country and birthplace of Islam.

Status: offline 		I'm guessing the discussion's been derailed in the direction of claiming that this isn't that big of a deal because atheist governments like China and the Soviet Union were and are much worse.

If that's true, it's an excellent point. Obviously there's no problem here after all. Someone else did it first.

That is just awful.  While he was on a religious pilgrimage that can only be completed by travelling to Saudi Arabia... 

He should have used a better travel agent I guess.
