Being that this is blood play, knowledge should include basic medical info, such as how to clean the site. Your best bet is to find someone real time in your area to show you. I know that not realy helpful in the short term, but in the longer term, it will be better. There's only so much damage that can be done with a soft flogger, so that can be learned in various places...things that puncture can puncture in bad ways if you're not trained. There is am excellent group in your area called APEX. I know that you could find qualified people there to teach you.
