Tulip, Mine is just overseas, he would have served this country, (he loves the USA more than most citizens) but he is too old now...and it's taking forever to go through all of the paperwork to get him back here. But I'm a Navy Brat, and I remember my dad being gone for months at a time, military families pay a high cost! At least by the time I was born, my dad was a Master Chief, so he wasn't really on the front lines. And here's what pissed me off in 2009... An ex who was too stupid to figure out how to do the paperwork for our divorce, and then complained that he didn't like the results when I finally was ordered by the court to complete the paperwork...not to mention his being too stupid to understand "mail contact only" Canadian Customs for thinking that I would even remotely want to go live in the Great White North (no offense to my Canadian friends, but I'm a desert rat, I can't do the cold, or the high prices) and holding me up at the border thereby making me late to pick up my beloved and worrying him unnecessarily. (But thanks for being a nearby country where we COULD meet, without getting out asses blown off by warring drug lords..Oh, and add the warring drug lords to that, for shame that they blow away innocent bystanders just because they can, and shame on the government officials who are sucking at their teat, and taking their payoffs, may you be rewarded as Karma deems proper!) The news media, for spoon-feeding us only what they want us to hear, thereby making the average American pretty puzzled at why the rest of the world hates us. (Thank heavens for the interwebz, because they finally level the playing field!) OK, that's enough for now!

I'd have to say the stoopid dumb phuck anesthesiologist that severed a nerve in my neck. He wasn't even close to where he should have injected me, the stoopid phuck tard was inches off!

It's still too early for this thread! Something could potentially piss us off more than anything on December 31st at 11:59 PM! @ SilverMark and others, there will ALWAYS be an inordinate amount of celebrity BS getting dished out on all fronts. So I definitely support Poosy's choice to just not watch TV! I mean don't get me wrong, I still watch Nick-at-Night...... I prefer to call the fellow Americans who are unfairly prejudiced, "AMURIKANS!" ;) quote: (being a mentally ill person is bad, especially with shopping sprees) Sounds like a symptom of mania. I hit a major depressive streak way earlier in the year, and that really took a lot out of me. Then I got diagnosed Bipolar and ADHD, but I'm definitely fighting the first diagnosis (as I don't see it in myself, the ADHD is more likely).

I am bipolar 1 and just got my disability recognized by Social Security after 2 years of fighting.

My IRS audit pissed me off. They said I needed better records and it is to small to spend the money fighting in court! Oh well its a $3000 bookeeping lesson!

Being scared pisses a lot of people off. When insecure people get scared about change, they strike out in some pretty ugly ways. For them to piss me off gives them a power I will not allow them to have over me. Just not gonna happen.

I'd say the one thing that pissed me off the most this year was the idiot surgeon who did my first surgery. He didn't bother to mark the tissue so the pathologist couldn't tell whether all the margins were clear. I ended up having to have another surgery (New surgeon- duh!) to make sure all the cancer was gone! Oh, and the one surgeon we went to see for a second opinion who suggested I get a double mastectomy just because I come from a Eastern European Jewish background -with no other tests or evidence that I needed anything so dramatic - really pissed me off, too. IDIOT!!! The whole medical profession in general, I guess. (and that does include the big Pharmas who are killing any hope of true health care reform)

What gave me great joy this year, though, was learning that hejira's cancer free... and so is fluffy... and so is my mom... and so is Aunt Fab... and the lump I found on my breast was just a cyst. That was a pretty damn good year for the ta ta brigade!
