Why should they deactivate them? They are their own unique person with their own rights, and one right given to them by Collar Me is to have a profile that states pretty much anything they choose, with very few exceptions. There are the ones that say they are owned obviously because they do not want to be hassled by offers and justifiably so. The ones that do not, did you ever consider that maybe they were trying to let you down gracefully? Maybe they are not interested in you and are trying to get you to get the hint. That would be My bet.

But, noone is obligated to say anything in their profile about their status, and if you do not like it I would hasten to say that it is too bad. That is the way it goes when you are making your way through thousands of profiles.

My position is to let them do what they want. They all obviously have their own reasons for doing what they do. By having a profile they can get private messages and make friends for instance. Others can use them to give a face to a name. It should be noted that not everyone chooses to use this site as a mating service, Myself being one of them. I use My profile to attract friends, and I am not going to let you or anyone else dictate to Me otherwise, no matter how much they whine about it. I am not alone in this, of this I am certain. Who are you to deny them that right? I would find something more worthy of complaining about if you are bent on whining about something. Let them use the site as they wish, and you do the same.

and then every now and then they'll reply with something sarcastic. Had one person once say "we all get alittle horny" (as for his reason to emailing me.. and some where after remark i made about his intelligence). i asked him if being horny excused him from being

polite, respectful and literate



apparently it does not as he stopped emailing me.

Damn it all, now i've got the most intense banana split craving! NOT allowed on my diet [:(]. Mmmm ice cream....

Anyways, to keep this post somewhat on topic.....

I have a profile, and no i'm not looking. I'm not currently owned, and i'm not looking to be owned right now. I'm still suffering intense heartbreak from my former Master, whom i loved (and still love) very much. We're still close friends, and we still have a great deal of love for each other. The reasons we are separated is long and complicated, and i won't be going into that.
I've been corresponding to a lot of very friendly people on this site, people who understand that all i'm looking for is friendship. If i had no profile, i never would have met these exceptionally nice people! I can only remember two men who've sent me messages wanting more than just friendship. One demanded i submit to him now, and since i was bored and feeling bitchy, i had a little fun sending him messages back and forth. He claimed we were "meant to be, fate drew us together, etc." He also claimed he "loved me." Of course, when i refused to comply his parting words were "bye fatty."  Hmmm.....guess we weren't so "meant to be" after all, eh?
The other claimed he wanted to marry me, and we would have kids, and i'd never have to work, etc etc etc. He even offered to pay all of my bills and pay off my car.  No thanks.
I've found that the people on this site are much more open to simple friendships than those on other sites, and that's one of the main reasons i love CM so much when compared to those other sites. The people are way more polite. Why on earth would i want to deactivate my profile and cut myself off from such a wonderful group of people?

My profile clearly states that I am owned and that I am on Collarme for friendship, support and information.

If Doms who are searching would simply take the time to research the people they contact (as they should do anyway) then they will see this.

Don't PM subs in chat  unless you have read their profile then you won't get rejected.

As far as being nasty, it is annoying that someone will approach you without reading their profile to see what they are about.

If Dom's inadvertantly contact me, they often simply apologise and move on.  Try that method.

This won't be the first time you've asked this question on the boards, but since you weren't listening then, for the sake of clarification I'll give you my answer one more time.

Why should I deactivate my profile?  I may not be looking for a master or a lover, but I am looking for like minded people to engage in intelligent conversation and friendship.  Just because I don't want what you've got to offer doesn't mean I don't have a valid reason to have a profile on this site.  I'm not bothered by anyone very often because most people have the courtesy to read profiles before they send me mail, and if they don't then they should.  And just to let you know, most of those who are collared do say so in their profile.  If you didn't read it, it's not our fault.

Once again we jump back to the part where you forgot to read someone's profile.  Of course you're going to get your head bitten off for contacting them.  Most people don't like being contacted for sex by the intentionally illiterate.  I thought I'd return the favor though, so here's a little hint for you :  Read people's profiles, learn to become a tolerant individual and then you might actually be able to find someone interested in you on collarme.  Hey, then you wouldn't even have to come whining to the forums everytime someone sends you an e-mail you don't agree with.
