Status: offline 		Okay just a little frivolous thread that had me wondering is it just me or are all the rest of my gorgeous sexy 40 something ladies way more insatiable and open and uninhibited and well just fricking horny way more than in their 20's and 30's? Do you crave things that you never thought you would? Do you attribute it to the adage of hitting your peak at 40 or being with the right man or a combination? Dommes, is it the same? I would imagine it's even more fun sometimes because well you can just command some hot loving at will. Lucky things you.

Aileen has on her sig line "It's never enough" and it is truly never enough. I don't want to get out of bed, eat, anything, when we are together, and I am lucky enough to see him at least 6 days a week and I work for him. Yeah I am really familiar with quickies in the bathroom at the office. Don't woryy it's his business, no chance of getting written up. . I'm moving in in a few weeks, I think I might kill him, literally. So ladies, share if you will. Is the rumor true? Because if it doesn't slow down soon I am going to have to recruit some hot female playmates to give the poor man a rest. Although so far no complaints.

i think it comes from more freedom, freedom from small kids, freedom from conventional thinking (i always loved sex but not until in my forties did i let that not only be OK, but something i embraced).

Yeah...I am more sexual and more raring to go now than I ever have been. I don't try to figure it out. I just enjoy the ride. It's been the only plus side of entering my forties.

edited to add....my sig line refers to more than just sex. It's all of him that is never enough. We spend days together and it's never enough...

I appreciate the rest of you ladies answers too, it seems to be common. Now who created the plan that men peak at what 19? lol. I like my men older, like 16 years older, so much for that master plan. No pun intended. Although I haven't noticed any trouble keeping up with me. That pun *was* intended. .

Boy, was she right!

I thought I knew what I was doing in my teens and twenties. My 30's were spent chasing little ones and hiding myself to survive a bad marriage.

I discovered (or should I say- I was discovered by) BDSM just before my 41st birthday.

My life has been enriched in so many ways- I can't even begin to go into here.

The sex is AMAZING!

As stated by Aileen and Aynne- It's never enough.

Status: offline 		Definitely seems true that the sex drive kicked into overdrive for me after 40- I'm 48 now. I've always liked/wanted/needed sex but it seems to be more at this stage of life.

Fnding the right man has kicked my sex drive into vroom vroom gear and it seems to keep picking up...not settle down. My guy loves it that I just want to get naked whenever I think of him and he says he's grateful for it lol. Random thoughts of him and what we might do come to mind throughout the day and pretty much keep my panties damp. I've never felt more sexual or open to sex in my life. Maybe I got really smart at this point in my life and just knew what to look for in a man....? I think that has a lot to do with it but I can't say for sure. I just seem more open to sex in general and finding the right person to do it with has pushed me into this state of perpetual hornyness. And it's awesome......

Hejira I love your post. That is exactly how I feel. Even when I am upset with him, which is rare, I could still tremble at a touch. Sometimes I wish it wasn't so overpowering, but in reality I wouldn't trade this feeling for anything. Oh and yes silly girl, your man is smoking. Yum. Can't say I blame you one bit.

I was pretty fricking hot in my 30s... All the 20 somethings said so... 

When I was 40 and 41 I was a total crazy woman.  Oh  lord, all the 20 somethings were mine.  I mean, I had to make rules for myself - not more than one guy per band.  *I may have broken that rule... It was a salsa band.  I mean come on!*

Recently not as much opportunity.  Ask me in a couple of weeks.  I'm gonna go do some research.

Status: offline 		I don't think I've hit my peak yet and my Master is 10 years younger than I am. I don't believe my sexual peak is set by my age but more by my mentality...but that's MY opinion of MY sexuality and not of anyone elses.

For me the need is attached to the man. I have had the same need at 20 as I did at 40. Different men, but equally enticing to my libido.

Status: offline 		I actually missed a lot in my 20's & 30's because of my situation.  There was very little opportunity for sex so I really can't compare now (40s) to then.  All I know is I can't seem to get enough now.

Missokyst great point, I hadn't thought about that really because I have never been so emotionally invested in someone. I still can't quite attribute it to that though, because I did have some amazing relationships. Perhaps a mix of the two? Not really certain. I just think with age comes confidence and comfortability with knowing what you need sexually speaking.

NuevaVida, I loved you as owned girlie and I am so happy to see you in this amazing new relationship that is so different and makes you glow. That makes me happy .

Status: offline 		I don't know if you are into power dynamics but for me that has always been part of what keeps me bound to someone. I had this type of relationship in my 20's and younger, and my 40's and beyond. Adding that to sex made the need greater.
