I once in one of the threads on the CM forums defined God as being my pillow. I see God every day. God holds my head while I sleep.

I am a bit confused, though. My in use pillow is on my bed. My old pillow is in my back. My new pillow is in its unopened casing on the floor. There are three Gods in my room! Or God has a triple nature!

Holy crap, no wonder things have gone to shit this year...God was to busy appearing in random bits of food & grease[:D]

Its amazing how people will see what they want

I have been listening to Madonna "Ray of light" in the Top 2000. It might be argued that she is God, or at least divine.

Arpig,

Check this out--it's one of my favorites, and starts to explore why they do.

Are you trying to tell us Jesus is God?

Rule -> RE: Where We've Seen God This Year (12/26/2009 12:59:53 PM)

According to Christian dogma Jesus, the Holy Ghost and God are one and the same. In the frame of the magical paradigm they are correct - though to people not familiar with the meaning of these concepts nor with the magical paradigm, it usually is quite confusing.

Yes, Christians believe Jesus is God.

Wouldn't that make Brain a Christian then?

Nice.

DarkSteven -> RE: Where We've Seen God This Year (12/26/2009 1:31:23 PM)

I have seen G_d this year in the workings of the universe... in the plants that convert solar energy into food, in the animals that provide the carbon dioxide which plants need for photosynthesis, in bumblebees that are technically incapable of flight but do so anyway, in the intricate interconnections throughout the natural world.

G_d is where you find Him.

Sanity -> RE: Where We've Seen God This Year (12/26/2009 1:42:09 PM)

I saw him on the History channel, while the history of the Earth and the Sun and the Universe were being discussed. I saw him when I traveled through Yosemite and  Crater Lake and  Newberry and San Francisco, the Redwoods and all along the Pacific coast last summer...

I saw him in a childs' smile just Christmas morning (yesterday), and in a Salvation Army donation kettle on Christmas Eve.

I guess you just have to know where to look...

NormalOutside -> RE: Where We've Seen God This Year (12/26/2009 1:44:05 PM)

I was touched by the hand of god this year, and I can tell you this much, I'm going to be pressing charges.

Hey! There's my buddy Rule!
I think you forgot one of your pillows! The "global warming pillow!"
"Oh God! Oh God!" (bites pillow)

Re: the bolded part... folks used to think that bumblebees had rigid wings, which would've made it impossible for them to fly.  But they have flexible wings, making them capable of flight.

FatDomDaddy -> RE: Where We've Seen God This Year (12/26/2009 9:55:29 PM)

still using that capital G I see.

Rule -> RE: Where We've Seen God This Year (12/26/2009 10:04:06 PM)

Pff. Except for one, all the words in his opening post start with a capital letter...
