I got a message the other day that said that I came across as very angry and bitter in my profile, which is worded the way it is to discourage people from trying to contact me who are just looking for wank fodder, and  I wanted to get some opinions about it. Do I come off as bitchy angry or bitter in my profile? Any tips on how to fix it if I do?

sweetheart, to some that don't like you or like what you say, everything you say will be a whine or rant

ignore and say what you will and don't let others try to speak for you

Thank you very much, I didn't think I had come off as anything but firm and knowledgeable as to what I am looking for. I didn't think of it that way, but now that you point it out it does make more sense as to why I would receive a message like that.

hi there, no more or less than most I see.  You want friends, you want to talk to people interested in friendship only, nothing more or less.  I wouldn't be turned off from contacting you as a friend based on your profile.

You have a noticable and witty profile. I sometimes tell people on here not to waste their whole profile screaming bitterly at the ones who aren't reading it. You do direct a couple of comments towards the 'not reading it anyway' crowd, who of course won't benifit, but it's only a comment or two so I don't find it so terribly off putting. after your comment here, I was expecting another long tirade on 'everyone here is losers don't contact me if your a loser here's my definaiton of loser in 10,000 words or less'. Yours is not that at all. It'f fresh and origanal, and smells like real human.

Nope, you sound like a submissive who has firm ideas about how you want to be contacted. Nothing wrong with that.

I love the use of colors in your essay section.  Very cool.  You're very clear and to-the-point.  There are parts of it that do sound a bit negative though.  Maybe concentrate mostly on saying what you are looking for and what you do want & start out on a positive note.  Then say a little bit about what you don't want.  But then, I'm not a Dom.....and They are the Ones Who'll be reading it.

as for me i wouldn't have her change a thing i never tell a subbie what to say, i want to hear what she has to say uninfluenced by what she may think i want to hear

1.  I would change the part about "a polite 'Thank you, go away'" to saying "No, thank you," that comes off as a little less negative. 

2.  Your motto.  I don't know if it was the repetition, or the color difference but I found it hard to concentrate on and I really would eliminate swear words in general from your profile.  In general, it makes people look ignorant or flippant when, the fact that you're here asking for advice on this shows that you are not and genuinely care what people think of you.

You are you - and constantly changing your profile because something says someone makes you look very insecure. As I said, you are you. Just be yourself, express yourself the way you want to, anybody worth their salt will manage to communicate with you, the rest you don't need.
