Every year, I spend a little time reviewing the year and making (realistic) plans for the next year.

I don't like to be out on New Year's Eve because the drunks frighten me. I don't want to worry about getting hit and what not.

I have adopted a few Peruvian traditions - I wear yellow underwear. Yellow is for good luck in the new year. I will hide coins around the house to welcome money into my life. I will carry my passport bag with me (that is my own spin on the tradition. Peruvians believe in walking around the block with your suitcase trailing behind you to signify travel. I think my suitcase is too fricking big. I travel light).

Come to think of it, I may need to go out and buy yellow underwear for Aunt Fab and Uncle Kindness. They get extra good luck if the yellow underwear is a gift!

If I pee in white underware will that count???

I really haven't decided.....

Option one is to make the drive a couple of hours to one of the clubs within semi reasonable driving distance to meet up and beat someone. This option puts MP behind the wheel, as I'm a worse driver in top space than many intoxicated people on the roads.

Option two is to stay home and avoid said intoxicated people and relax at home.

Not that I've ever got a wild hair up My butt and decided option one would be a hell of an adventure. LOL.

I'm going to bed early so that I can get up & go to my new job. I've always referred to NYE as Amateur Night, because that's the time when people who don't normally get drunk come out, get drunk & drive around willy-nilly. I've never liked going out that night. And since Guy Lombardo died, midnight just isn't the same. *sob*
