Missokyst -> Year end cleanup (12/27/2009 1:49:33 PM)

Today I was updating my fet account and removing a lot of groups and interests that were mostly added on impulse over the months. It felt like it was time to clean up my thoughts and dust out the cobwebs. And then I came here and found myself blocking some posters from view. This is the first time I have done this on CM, but I find that lately I feel that life is too short to be bothered with stuff that holds little importance. In a little while I will toss out a bunch of stuff from my old office, and rifle through my drawers for things to donate to the salvation army. And tomorrow I plan to have an old car hauled away by the the car recycle place.

I don't really "do" resolutions for new years, but this year I feel changes feel necessary.

Here we are at the end of a decade and a new one starts soon. Will you make changes? If so what are they?

Losing weight and toning my body.  Maybe I will lose 100 lbs this year (and donate the loose skin to science...NOT!).

To not settle for less than I deserve
To only be around genuine and honest people
To rid myself of all toxic people, places and things in my life.

I'm going to stop thinking of life in decades... cause they are slipping by me much to fast and well, the reminder sucks!

But yes... I am doing some clean up... and it is much easier work than than I would have thought in some area's, both personal and what/who I let become personal.

Every now and then I do a whole life purge and I feel one coming on strong.  I have in the past, rented one of those huge dumpsters and rid myself of unwanted items.  Sometimes I donate furniture, but if I feel that the style is old or if it is not in the best shape, out it goes!  A few times in my life I have picked up and left my life behind.  I have quit jobs, apartments, homes and lovers.  There are times I feel like I am a phoenix who must burn off the old remnants of things that have grown over with weeds and muck.
I want my own new chapter.

I can relate to that!

I hope you find a wonderful new chapter!

Yes.  I am going to have to start buying water.   The water service here is crappy-namely fluoride.

ICK!!  The water in my town tastes like fluoride with water in it.  We travel out of town to get it cold and delicious from a well.

Yes. I've already sat down, and did an extensive budget for the first half of 2010, down to the dollar. I plan on writing out more goals over the next several days. Life passes by, and I'm tired of not having what I want.

I should have you come over to my house.
I have 42,758 messages in my Yahoo mail. (Really!)

LMAO... omg, did you know there is a delete button? There is no way I could handle that much mail hanging out in my box. On any given day by the time I turn my computer off at night there are no more than 8 pieces of mail in my box. No spam. No trash. I leave room for a small amount for things I need to handle by the time new people attend my munches and once they have come and are seen I dump out their mail.
