Oh Otter, Otter, again I wish I could clone you and bring your clone to Australia! It's so great to see a cross dressing devotee exercise such sense and practical realism.

The essential point is that a Domme will dictate how She wishes someone to be dressed when he is doing Her work. This whole concept of subs "training themselves" in most cases basically equates to "pleasing themselves" and woe betide a Domme who orders such a self-trainee to take his frilly uniform off and get down and dirty! The OP says now that he would wear whatever his Domme decreed, but in My experience, the reality of that is accompanied with objections, pouting and sulkiness (and probably not a very thorough cleaning job to boot!). The idea of going to butler school isn't bad ... though it could be a problem if their way of doing a task isn't inline with MY way of wanting it done. A sub would have to explain very logically why the way they were taught was superior before I would want it done that way instead of My way. I'd rather train the sub Myself.

French Maid outfits are for the parlor, the dining room, or the tea room, not the kitchen, laundry, or bath, and they are not for heavy labor or for cleaning, they are for decorous serving.

You say this like its some kind of objective truth, but the fact is one can clean a whole house, top-to-bottom in a French Maid's outfit. The biggest obstacle is the shoes, and so going with smaller heels launches a capacity for work on par with sweatpants and a tee shirt.

Putting forth opinions, biases, and prejudices as "objective advice" is a way of appearing kind and knowledgeable while in fact being rude and judgmental.

Wow that was a real painful judgment! ROFL... Ever heard of 'don't sweat the little things in life'?

Tis... better for your health and in social gatherings.

Before I purchase anything, I would welcome your thoughts on how best a maid should be turned out:

Blue jeans, bare chest with ripped abs :-)

Oh, well...if we're going with fantasy attire, then I want my maid in nothing but a collar and chains.  She can wear makeup if she wants but it's not required.  [:D]

chains may scratch the furniture, don't you think?

What makes you think I let her on the furniture?  [;)]

Omg, no. Never on the furniture. I meant whilst cleaning dressers and such with chains rubbing carelessly.

If you review the history of this forum, you will find a large number of posts made by males who have female leanings.  Most come in here completely without a clue and spouting out their "fantasy X" involving kink and clothing.  Most have no idea where they are, who their audience is - most are just looking to get their rocks off.

From haircuts, to maids, to SRS, to forced fem, to castration and every girlie kink in-between, it comes up multiple times a month...sometimes multiple times in a week.

I am a fan of the "girlie-boy".  I want my kind to do well and find Ladies to serve.  But when taken on a whole, we do not show well - and that to an already small pool of available dominant Ladies.

So when another comes in here and spouts off "fantasy X", this time about what maid's outfit he should buy, then...YES... I am going to give some advice and...YES...it is going to contain a grain of realism to hopefully help that person get out of the fantasy realm and into figuring out how they can realistically make their fantasy...actually...come...true.

If the slut doesn't know enough to hold her chains out of the way while cleaning, she can do it with her wrists locked behind her back and the rag in her teeth.

Hell, that works for me. That will churn my fantasies a bit. [sm=yourock.gif]

I've been around this forum since 05, and I have not seen what you claim. Also, I would not equate the OP with your generalization either.

When I dislike someone else's kink, I don't come in and offer that person advice -- I just pretty much shut up about it. What I see, though, is a lot of snark directed at the OP, and I've seen a long history of that kind of useless, self serving commentary which masquerades as "advice" and a "reality check" when in fact the posting motives are simply derisive and dismissive of someone else's hopes and desires.

Although you share this guy's kink, you still have not taken responsibility for your own misstatement sitting there clearly in the record -- namely that one cannot do serious work in a French Maids uniform. That claim was a real doozy.
