Status: offline 		Former Mountie stabs Ottawa police officer as he waited in his car outside hospital.

Story here.

Please extend well wishes to YDD aka beer bug as the officer who was killed was part of her extended family. YDD asked me to post this and asked for everyone to send prayers and condolences to the slain officer's wife and children.

Thank you so much for that generalization that all us Canadians have legalized murder!

To the rest of you - thank you very much for your thoughs.  This is the first officer in 29 years lost in the line of duty in Ottawa.  I am only thankful that he was in the service because I know his widow and children will be well taken care of.

If you want to argue bullshit about cop killings and the lack of strict laws...take it to the political thread. 

My apologies YDD for the pissant's lack of compassion over someone losing their life because that police officer made the choice to serve and up hold the laws of my country and yours.

So expressing discontent that the murderer of a member of your family is going to be living a long, healthy life is vitriol, hmmmm?

How warped society has become when expressions of a desire for justice for a family is seen as emotional pain for that family.
